This is my commandment, that you love one another just as I have loved you.—John 15:12.

When asked which was the greatest commandment in the Law, Jesus answered: “Love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.” The second was: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” He then said: “On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets.” (Matt. 22:35-40) Jesus thus indicated that, not just the Law with the Ten Commandments, but the entire Hebrew Scriptures were based on love. Is love of God and neighbor also central to the law in the hearts of Christians? Absolutely! “The law of the Christ” involves a heartfelt love of God and includes a new command—Christians are to have self-sacrificing love for one another.—Gal. 6:2. w 8/15/05 9, 10b

Thanks Barry

Let us continue to always strive to identify ourselves as brothers and sisters in Christ, treating each other with love and dignity, understanding and patience, never judging, but always seeking ways to build each other up in spirit and truth.

John 13:35 By this all will know that YOU are my disciples, if YOU have love among yourselves."
