Matt Slick of The Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry (CARM) asks that very question (Is the Jehovah's Witnesses religion Christian?) and conveniently supplies the reader with the answer. Here is a quote taken from the CARM website:

It is Summer in the Northern Hemisphere. Do you know that death and injury from lightning is one of the most common natural hazards? The sequoias in California grow to become the largest trees in the world. To get some idea of how big these trees may become, notice the little deer standing at the base of the one tree. Even the deer seems to be impressed with what God has done. Some of these giant trees live for thousands of years. No one really knows how long they can live. They are virtually impervious to disease and even fire. Usually they become so massive they simply topple over. But it underscores the meaning of Isaiah 65:22, which says: "For like the days of a tree will the days of my people be; and the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full." In other words, Jehovah's redeemed ones will live forever on the earth.
