I think overzealous is the word you're looking for. Not narcissistic. I met some people who literally thought they were a sort of God. An overzealous person can still be humble towards God. A narcissistic person can't and is the opposite of humble.

From my experience, I met way more people that were not JW's that were extreme narcissists. Of course, there is always that other exception. But for the most part, the world outside from the congregation are way more narcissistic.
