This is going to sound defeatist, cowardly and over the top but I'm sadly a critical thinker. I'm not going to lie, my morale is dropping. I've had enough of this stale, cold, dead world. I've given up to the point of not even caring now, even if I am to perish in the process, I've just had enough. It makes me just want to go into a field in the middle of nowhere and scream until my voice goes hoarse.

Although I've got my equipment ready, it won't last long. We're talking about (to my guess) a global collapse, followed by global war that devolves the world into a desolate wasteland, the major nations and cities being the epicenter of it all. The first to go is Christendom, then the rest of religion, followed by religious wars, race wars and the war of the mind. Then dog eat dog amongst all communities and towns. But within all that will be the tests of faith, starvation, sacrifices, temptations and whatever system Satan has as a last ditch effort to temperately take over to exterminate all who refuse to submit to it. Absolute chaos.
The immense shock would have the survivors embrace & worship the Beast since it'll provide some order. It's part of the plan.

The sense of feeling defeated affects us all - but for all, the solution remains the same. We are ‘trapped’ so to speak between two superpowers. One fights for our attention, the other waits to see if we will give Him our attention freely. I used to consider the same issues you relate above. It is a comfort to know for you that you are not alone. I would imagine that only the most angry and insular of us have not thought often about the predicament you describe. The answer, though unavoidable, is easy to assimilate if we want to shed the sense of doom, defeat and despair, floods fire and famine, that go on around us today. The issue is straightforward: Are we immortal? No. Do we want to live in this world as it is? No. Would we want to live in this world as it is for ever? No. Is there an alternative. Yes. Having arrived at those conclusions, there is but one option. We all know what that option is. Therefore, live for today. Enjoyment of life is our own responsibility. Therefore use what time we have in a beneficial way, so that at the end of each day we can draw some satisfaction from it between ourselves and our creator. Better to have one day in the temple of Jehovah, than a thousand spent elsewhere.

If critical thinking is making you feel unhappy, then you are not being critical of both sides of the argument under your consideration. Criticism entails the consideration of alternatives and approaches to any given subject. We have to criticise our conclusions as well as the issue to hand that we are dealing with. Self analysis is the hardest issue to criticise, but unless you examine your own motives and reasoning, the picking apart of an issue without pursuing a viable outcome is much the same as letting the air out of your tyre and then wondering why you are now going nowhere with it. You appear to be at this juncture if I may say so.

For all of us, there is but one thing to consider. Life. If we want life, then on what terms. Are those terms agreeable with our heart motivation - do we truly love the life-giver. Why? Then consider your values and having done so, do they mirror Jehovah‘s purpose? If that is the case, bearing in mind that if we loose our life, we will retain it, then how far are we prepared to go to attain it? When you have clarified these issues you will find that you regain your purpose, courage and vitality in pursuing the goal. It is whether you truly want it that is the issue. No one can do it for you. But having a goal helps and selflessness in getting emotionally bogged down with our trials always helps. We have to strip away ‘self’ to see the greater picture. There is a scripture that is meant for such occasions. Jesus asked for the cup to be taken from him, if there was another way to attain Jehovah‘s purpose…”Not by my will, but by yours, Father”. There was not. And it is the same for us, to approach the facts, assimilate them into our soul, then making that our goal. It is not about us defeating the problems we face, as much as it is about defeating our own fears about the problems. If we defeat our fears and put real faith in Jehovah, then Jehovah will not test us further than we can bear. If Jehovah is on your side, how can you fail?

Most likely feel the same. I know God hates violence but I’ve had the urge for the last two years to thrash people. Especially the double maskers and triple jabbers

People don't bother me much but there's so much sci-fi like territory that could thrown at humanity these days. I wish the best for all non wicked.
It's interesting you mentioned this. Much of the sci-fi entertainment is about an evil extraterrestrial invasion where mankind is either killed or enslaved. This seems to be predictive programming for the Parousia, so that people associate Jesus as a cruel invader rather than a savior of mankind.

I've heard family and other witnesses make that point most my life it's certainly a very plausible avenue of narrative for the system to push on the NPCs.

Maybe this would help explain how the kings of the earth would be stupid enough to actually fight against God.

I think given the insanity of agenda 2045 (the globalists putting AI replicas of there minds on spaceships blowing up the earth as a sacrifice to the devil and opening a portal near Saturn in an attempt to invade and war with heaven) the devil has somehow fooled them into thinking they could remotely pose some sort of a threat to Jehovah. 🤣

Hi Brother Seager, Thank you for your heartfelt post. I think many have felt the same. I know I have. I just wanted you to know that your posts along with many others on this website have really encouraged me to continue on a path of faith in Jehovah and his Son. I hope you too find some comfort while you can on this website along with your personal bible study. Take courage because we have a small community here, where most want to encourage one another to stay faithful no matter the cost and no matter the wait. It is excruciating at times. But the end will be glorious. Nothing valuable can be obtained without cost. Much love to you.

Enjoyment of life is our own responsibility. Therefore use what time we have in a beneficial way, so that at the end of each day we can draw some satisfaction from it between ourselves and our creator. Better to have one day in the temple of Jehovah, than a thousand spent elsewhere.
Just personally speaking, time spent quietly meditating on Jehovah's creation, his purpose for us, preferably, outside - when it's quite, in the early morning or even middle of the night is good therapy. Also, doing what I reasonably can to prepare, helps me feel like I am giving Jehovah something to bless. I certainly do have the anxiousness, and just a deep feeling of grief, and I hope and pray that I can adjust as things change. I'll be praying myself and others. Take care, everyone💜!

Wow. This is such a deep and thought provoking response. You are an excellent writer @BARNABY THE DOG. I don’t even know for sure if you are male but I everytime I read your wise and thoughtful replies and posts on here, I imagine Sean Connery behind the computer much like his character in the movie “Finding Forester.”

I do not know if you have seen it, but in the archive here, is a dramatisation that Robert made on creation. It’s power is a visual and a heartwarming evidence of Jehovah’s creation and the narration from the bible is inspirational. We spend a great deal of time at the coalface of life and on occasion, it is a wonderfully new revelation to our soul to come up out of the pit and view the open hand of Jehovah. It will do you good just to sit, watch and listen to it….it rejuvenates faith powerfully. The creation has that effect. We often neglect to use the sense of sight to add to the bible, but thought and sight together is a very strong and spiritual exercise in faith.

BTW The bird video was really good to start the morning off ( I liked it better with the music off)🦆Seabirds are my favorites.
We naturally are comforted by things Jehovah made,- every morning and evening I love to spend time outside, just soaking in the timelessness of everything Jehovah has done. This forum is what I also go to every day, even if it is just to read what others are thinking.

Hey Jordan, I feel ya. IMHO it's a good thing that you hate this world, and you're OK with dying. If I didn't have my 2 sons to worry about I wouldn't mind dying in my sleep and waking up in Paradise. On the flip side, I do long to be a part of the Great Crowd, which requires surviving, but I know this means I'll have to witness unimaginable horrors and evils... some involving those I love. I try to enjoy each peaceful day knowing what's coming, but I'll admit it's not easy since each day seems to be a little worse than the last. I'm at peace knowing Jehovah's guiding my steps. I draw from the Book of Job a lot; I blame Satan for every bad things I see or experience. This allows me to love Jehovah and Jesus, and to avoid any negative feelings about them. They hate what he's done to their creation way more than I do, but it had to be this way in order to prove Jehovah right.

Right now my oldest son believes Jehovah created us, but that He doesn't care one way or the other. I can understand why someone with no faith can think this way. I could dwell on the negative of this line of thought, but instead I'm thankful he isn't an Atheist, a God hating Satanist or a worshipper inside Babylon the Great. He's like so many out there who are in limbo, waiting for a sign. We're on this forum for a reason, as it was Jehovah who drew us here. Why? So we can sharpen our skills for the spiritual battle ahead. Think of it as if we're anticipating a huge battle, but we have no idea when it will commence. Our minds would be filled with anxiety, depression, fear, anger... and many other emotions, but when the General decided it was time to fight, we'd go out and our focus would sharpen for the task we'd been training for.

We're all being tested in our own ways. I feel special knowing Jehovah and Jesus are on one side cheering for me to make the correct choice, while Satan and his demons are on the other side getting frustrated as their attempts to derail my faith fail. We're not judged unfaith when we break down and feel like we can't live in this system anymore; that's when Jehovah carries us. We must carry on and push through. We're all preparing one way or another, some more than others. Those who have few preps will be taken care of by those who have more. I know it... I can feel it. Every time I add to my preps I get this feeling they're not going to be for me. Right now I'm trying to enjoy foods I believe will be in short supply soon, like ice cream, chocolate, cheese... I'm also war gaming many scenarios for the coming siege, so I'm not caught flat footed. I plan on fantasying heavily about Paradise when the worst of the storm hits. I won't be looking back at what I enjoyed, but looking forward to the unimaginable bounty that's just ahead. It's kind of exciting in a scary sort of way.

So hang in there Jordan. Wake up, go about your day and stay awake spiritually. Follow Galatians 5:22-23 "On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law." and you'll be OK.

I'm going to have to save those thoughts, along with others that I've saved in a document. P.S. I would like to say more later about an upcoming visit, from a long time friend [elder]. I've already told him that I feel the g.b. is apostate, and that Jehovah is going to deal with them. He said not to repeat that to anyone. I said he could come, because, he is the closest thing to family I've got. To me, it's even worth being df just to be able to take a firm stand with him. I trust Jehovah, what ever happens. But support from everyone here will be appreciated.🙏

My advice would be to remain present and not allow his defense of the GB to shake you into becoming defensive or emotional. Pray for the right words, and Jehovah will put them in your mouth. I'm sure Robert can give you a list of scriptures to help you prepare. I'd say the fewer the better. Too much, too soon could cause his eyes to glaze over. Think of a starving horse... you never allow them to eat too much at first, cause it'll kill them. JWs still worshipping the WT idol are starved of proper spiritual food at the moment, so they need to be spoon fed until properly nourished.

If you are concerned about the visit Barb, you may like to try interviewing your friend on a certain topic. May I suggest that you stay with one question, or at least one question at a time. Remember, the witness view is an amalgamation of lies, built on a frail understanding of truth. For the witness, both are true because their scripture issues are taken out of context by the GB writers. Because they are out of context, the Watchtower is able to explain them coherently and with ‘fact‘. The 1914 spin is a prime example, built upon ‘days’, ‘generations’ ’wars and reports of wars…’, all of it convincing. Though you are no longer convinced, they are, and thus it is not possible to argue successfully with one that cannot and will not accept otherwise until terrorised by revelation. The best article I can think of to argue is the one of separating the wheat from the chaff and how long is that separating work going on if Christ is already ruling. Robert has mentioned it often and every time I read it, it confirms my faith in the issue. Silence and extended pauses are also useful in stopping the flow of back and forth argument. Enjoy your hour at the anvil, and if cornered by your friend you can ease yourself out of it by suggesting, “I will discuss your point with others and get back to you”. That generally let’s them off the hook and ready to take their leave. He is probably more afraid of you than you are of him. As noted by another here, because it is difficult to re-examine truths that you have held all your life. Nobody wants to know that they have been living with an adulterous partner.
