By this all will know that YOU are my disciples, if YOU have love among yourselves.

For all the differences we have on Robert's blog and forum many of us have observed there is much more natural Christian love here than in the borg far from the love of the greater number cooling off here it's a healthy growing flame. Love is the flame of Jah may he bless every one of our dear brothers and sisters thirty if not hundredfold.

fire-flame.gifYes... I pray Jehovah continues to bless us and draw those who are searching for answers to us, and protects them from the rocks hidden under waters trying so hard to pull them away.

The lies that the WT has created casts a heavy weight on those in the (b)org, it's no wonder the love is cooling off. They are losing hope.

Lets keep fanning that flame so it's nice and warm and inviting.

This is an interesting post that especially hits home for me. I was just commenting to someone that it seems like there is so much real Christian love here. And that scripture above has been a real "thorn in my side" for many many years. I've posted this before, but that scriptures has plagued me. I kept going back to it over and over again. I finally had to resolve myself to the fact that although I was convinced and would never be convinced otherwise, that we had the truth, I was just going to have to live with the fact that in my experience there just is NOT love among most JW's. Not the kind of love Jesus displayed. Thanks for making this thread.

As we're well aware christians have argued for centuries over salvation through faith or works and one thing the society consistently got right is it's non polar position on this. One thing I thought to highlight however is that while it is true

26 Indeed, as the body without spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

There is something more important than either.

13 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels but do not have agape, I have become a sounding brass or a clashing cymbal. 2 And if I have the gift of prophesying and am acquainted with all the sacred secrets and all knowledge, and if I have all the faith so as to transplant mountains, but do not have agape, I am nothing. 3 And if I give all my belongings to feed others, and if I hand over my body, that I may boast, but do not have agape, I am not profited at all.

It's neither faith or works alone nor faith and works but the love of the father and son in providing the ransom that affords mankind the means of attaining salvation may we always respond to this act of agape in devotion reciprocating where we can in all word and deed living spiritually productive for the master in full faith affection and confidence in our God and the king he's designated for us.

14 We know we have passed over from death to life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love remains in death. 15 Everyone who hates his brother is a manslayer, and YOU know that no manslayer has everlasting life remaining in him. 16 By this we have come to know love, because that one surrendered his soul for us; and we are under obligation to surrender [our] souls for [our] brothers. 17 But whoever has this world’s means for supporting life and beholds his brother having need and yet shuts the door of his tender compassions upon him, in what way does the love of God remain in him? 18 Little children, let us love, neither in word nor with the tongue, but in deed and truth.19 By this we shall know that we originate with the truth, and we shall assure our hearts before him

Of course we need to be careful that we do not turn this group into a mini watchtower and elevate Robert to a position he may not want or even desire. And by that I mean that we have been fragmented by our beliefs, by the leadership of the Watchtower. For many, desiring fellowship, a sense of belonging. We certainly don't want to jump out of the frying pan and into the fire. This forum, as well as others like it do serve a purpose, and we should be grateful for them. A place to meet others of like mindedness, to share and compare ideas. We live in exciting times brethren, at least to me they are exciting ... "it [is] the best of times , it [is] the worst of times", as we see the Heavenly Fathers plan unfold before our very eyes.

I felt lonely and like an outsider for so long before Covid started, I didn't think it could get worse. Now after the isolation came the judgment and division over the vaccine, and the lectures in the meetings and the updates...

I'm so grateful to have this fellowship and association with like minded ones. Thank you all for the conversations and encouragement. ♡

As an introvert, the "Pandemic" was the best thing to happen to me, in the sense that it had no effect on me. I'm a homebody, although I have to admit I miss the physical spiritual fellowship.

Oh my word, I just got off the phone w a sister I’ve know for 29 years and I expressed to her how I felt about the GB pushing the jabs and that we are being excluded from gatherings, outings (I saw 2 sisters inside a restaurant having a ball the other day) bc we’re not vaxxed and she said it’s bc the GB is trying to protect us and people have a right to protect themselves. I told her that the vax is harmful and not effective and she said that’s not true and that almost all covid patients that are in the hospitals and dying are not vaxxed and I said that is so wrong. Then she said that she didn’t understand why this is such a controversy bc no one is making me get the jab that I’m not going to be disfellowshipped or reproved for not getting it and I said but we won’t be able to have the same privileges like go to the meetings in person, field service, I even told her that bethelites have been mandated to get the vax then she asked where I heard that but I ignore it. Then she said well, it’s like the beard and the skirt thing, it’s a standard and I said oh so that’s how we’re going to be seen how lovely and then she backtracked and said well maybe not exactly like that but people aren’t going to want the unvaxxed at their door. I asked her so are you going to get all the boosters too and she said she already got it and is not afraid of the vaccine and even if she should die bc of it she listened to the GB and has Jehovah’s blessing. I said but that’s following men and she said no it’s not bc this is who Jehovah is using to direct us and I said so you haven’t done any research on the vax and she said not really and I don’t intend to, I trust the GB bc Jehovah does. I said what if it turns out that they’re wrong that the vaccine is harmful, wouldn’t that show that it wasn’t Jehovah’s direction but then I messed up and said that they would never admit to being wrong then she said that’s not true bc there have been times when they were wrong and didn’t hesitate to correct themselves. Then I went on to tell her, could it be that the GB is turning apostate like the nation of Israel & Christianity after the death of the apostles and she said of course not & that would never happen bc then Jehovah would have no Org with whom to communicate with us. She said she didn’t understand why people who don’t want the jab are making it so difficult and controversial, if I don’t want it then don’t get it but stop going on and on about it. I said that’s because we’re being treated differently and won’t be able to attend meetings, etc then she said so then you do zoom meetings & btw not just the unvaxxed are going to do zoom, that many jabbed won’t be going in person either bc they still don’t feel comfortable. Then I said but that’s not right that’s discrimination and again she said but the majority believe you need the vax to be protected and I said so if you’re jabbed why are you afraid of the unjabbed, she said no it’s that we’re protecting you bc we can be carriers. Then she told me she just got better from having covid and I said wow and you were boosted then she said but I didn’t die which is what’s happening with the unjabbed and I said that is completely false and she said but it’s all over the news and I said they are spreading false information and she said oh come on, now you’re getting into conspiracy theory and I said no, oh my we spoke for over an hour and a half like this, I told her they were bought by Pfizer and she said so how about the CDC and I said yeap them too and the FDA, Pfizer is one of their biggest donors. I asked so if the GB told you to take a deadly toxin you would do it and she said yeap. Oh my she is so completely gone. I said the Society has never shared their sources on the vax and she said all you have to do is ask and suggested that I sit with the elders and they will help me through it bc I’m not the only one going through this, in fact her sister and niece haven’t gotten the jab either and are having issues as well then she told me a couple in her hall aren’t also getting it but they aren’t making a stink about it and they said that they would gladly do everything through zoom if that’s what the GB decides. I believe she wants me to do the same and just shut up about it and accept the consequences as she puts it.

Truth be told there are people who are unvaxxed who won’t want vaccinated witnesses coming to their doors because of shedding. This entire vaccination issue is what is dividing people and the GB have joined in. To tell you the truth, I don’t think you will be able to convince anyone. It seems to me that everyone has already made their decision. One side uses facts and science and the other side is using blind trust and unquestioned propaganda. Isaiah 28:19: “19 As often as it passes through, It will sweep you away; For it will pass through morning after morning, During the day and during the night. Only terror will make them understand what was heard.

But you tried and she will remember that. Good job for not caving in to insanity.

You’re so right, I don’t believe we are going to change anyone’s mind at this juncture, they have already decided a while ago and it will take something very drastic to get them to see otherwise. I can’t believe she compared it to the beard and skirt thing, the vax is a life and death issue but she said she doesn’t care too much about living and that she would rather die faithful to the GB which equals Jehovah than die from covid bc she didn’t listen. She said if this is Jehovah’s organization than he’s allowing the GB to guide us and it’s through them Jehovah is directing us.

I think I am going to make a bullet point rebutal from your convo and others that have been posted to all this disinfo that we can all add and use when talking to people. I know that you won't change any of these automatons minds, but it would be nice just to shut them up.

Don’t you just wish they could hear themselves? It’s really amazing that they can recognize idolatry in others but not in themselves. She would rather die faithful to the GB even if they recommended poison than die because she didn’t listen. Well, that is just irrational because that isn’t the choice.

It’s so sad that we have to plan a defense, I have a list of articles from med journals, data, studies etc and points I’ve gotten from Robert and others on this site. I tried not to sound apostate and get into doctrinal issues bc I felt myself wanting to go there but I tried to keep it strictly about the vaccine.

And for Witnesses I talk to I'm going to start it off like this..."First of all, I base my world view on the "conspiracy theory" that "the whole world lies in the power of the wicked one." Not some of it, not certain aspects of it, not certain corporations or certain religions, the WHOLE world. So when SATAN's System of LIARS tell me something I FACT CHECK THEM. Then I make up my own mind, and I do not wait for someone else to do that for me!

I learned so much about her during this conversation than I ever did in all these years. This is going to expose many for who they really are. She really started to sound looney and irrational, I was actually beginning to get concerned.

Jehovah would have no Org with whom to communicate with us.
This attitude they have about the GB it reminds me of the following experience. Several years ago I was out in the door to door ministry and came across this man who was a catholic. I grew up in the truth and at the time I was in my 40's so this was nothing new or so I thought. This guy would not engage with me in conversation about the bible. He kept saying I needed to talk to a priest and basically we couldn't understand the bible, we needed a priest to explain it to us. This is where we are now with the WT. And if we cannot understand what the GB are telling us then how are we qualified to make disciples? Well, I guess in reality we never really were. So who did Jesus give the command to, to "go forth and make disciples"?

Exactly my feelings. Their arguments to keep me in line would have kept me in the Catholic Church 32 years ago. Why would I fall for that same erroneous way of thinking?
