Did the Apostles have a heavenly hope when they partook of the bread and wine?

They were not anointed until after Christ returned to heaven; however, they did have the heavenly hope because Jesus told them they were going to be with him in heaven.
The speaker at the Memorial talk I listened to put this in a similar way. He said that only those who were to become part of the 144,000 partook of the bread and wine.

If you are not anointed by God, not only are you fooling yourself but there is nothing to be gained by the deception. A person would lose out entirely. Even on the earthly hope, if a person was that removed and arrogant. This isn't something I would play the fool with. Allow me some latitude, please. I was attending a Baptist church at 10 years old but even then, I knew my destination was paradise on earth (if allowed by God) and not heaven. I can't tell you why I knew because most Baptists think they're going to rapture their way into the sky and avoid the mayhem that I know is coming. I knew at 10 that I was not going to see heaven. Make of that what you will. When I encountered JW teachings, this began to finally make sense to me. Baptists think they're all going to heaven and they also cling to the trinity and hell. It doesn't take much to destroy their fallacious beliefs but I try to do it politely. God's patience is wearing thin with their lying ways. If I am to live it will be here where God designed us to be, and I am thankful. I can't imagine being robbed of my humanity and having to serve as a king or priest. I like to get my hands dirty. Jehovah knows what he's doing.

i agrée but what if you’re mental, like the WT said about some of the anointed?
Some may prove to be mental. Ego affects everyone. If a person has any wisdom at all they will err on the side of not being presumptuous or self-assuming. Whatever the sign or evidence that holy spirit gives to identify a person as anointed, I have never experienced it so I can’t even comment on what exactly that is. What I will say is that a person had better make sure before making the claim.

i don’t mean ego as in ego like a narcissistic personality disorder but some diagnosed mental illness from the DSM-5 like mental fragmentation or or some kind of clinically diagnosed mental disorder. i remember in one of my former halls years ago, this lady used to partake and i think the elders thought she was mental.
