Probably a bit of both Mick. I found that my wife is secretly taking in all my jumpers and even some of my shirts. She has been shortening my belts too and has moved the car seat nearer the steering wheel.

The .org would have you believe that when you leave it you’re doomed and spiritually dead awaiting the certain second death execution that it’s leaders have sanctioned ones to.
And yet here we, and a growing number of other cast off sheep, have gathered and are richly blessed with authentic truth and warm Christian encouragement.
I’ve always doubted the .orgs exclusivity notions.
Doesn’t Robert point out in a recent talk about Zephaniah’s words to seek meekness “all you nations”.
If we were cast off by Jehovah, then we wouldn’t be able to possess the fruits of His spirit and yet here those fruits are in full bloom everyday.

I am certain that the GB have absolutely no idea of the pain they cause through their policy of shunning. For those that leave a marriage for reasons other than adultery, they are sentenced to a life of solitude, and if you say anything, or question anything, then you are on your own. I tell you truly, then you find out the substance of the bible and the freedom in loving our Creator, and of His love for us. Sometimes, I feel Jehovah is with us even in the smallest of everyday accomplishments.

I was surprised to learn that my Irish ancestors preceded Africans in the Carribean slave trade! Suppressed history: Also what we were taught in school as the 'Potato Famine' really was genocide! https://www.africaresource.com/rast...the-irish-slave-trade-forgotten-white-slaves/

It was genocide, much the same as the Scottish land clearance before them in the 1800s. I’m sure that Nomex‘s ancestors were in the groups that went to the new world, or America as we know it today.

This is a travesty. We do our very best to stay neutral.... But stuff like this can put that to the test right quick.

Then I remember that as a lover of freedom, of justice, of fairness, of righteousness- there's only one way humankind will ever truly find it.

Once the handcuffs go on, your neutrality takes a shortcut out in the woods. All I am saying is that when they show up at your door, and they will, things are going to get difficult and you need to know what you are willing to put up with before it comes you way.
They will not invite themselves away from your door once they come for you.
Best to know that hillbilly next door who don't talk much always looks bizzy. He got plans on how this turns out because God has been on his mind. For all of my talking, I don't move an inch unless our God allow it. That is my bottom line

It is sensible to make your mind up to your resolve well beforehand. Considering your values in this life and actually for this life that we lead is paramount before the iron strikes. As the bible says, “do not go back for your outer garment…”. If members of our own family will give us up to the authorities, we need to be prepared for that now, rather than when or if it should occur to us as individuals. However, resolve needs to be in bed with wisdom, so the bible says in that we are to “acquire wisdom along with knowledge…”, thus indicating that it is how we use such knowledge of the events to come to save ourselves. After all, the gift of life is well worth saving. Jehovah says that He will provide the means of escape and though death as an escape cannot be ruled out, it nonetheless gives us an option to act within scripture to save ourselves. Such instances are served by Moses being cast adrift in the river, and Mary and Joseph taking Christ out from under the hand of the slaying authorities of Herod. Every day we survive is a gift from Jehovah.

And the ironic thing is that when presented with the only valid solution to earths problems, most will fight to the death to resist it and cling to the fantasy that human rule will save them.
