At least he is trying to engage the congregation in a fun way.
Just a shame it encourages promotion of a corrupt organisation guilty of mass manslaughter.
Yes, good point - that is one thing that is so infuriating, - he's treating the brothers like school children:confused: - it's like a 'bible school' class I attended as a youth! He's half the age of most of the elders and pubs., most of which have much more teaching experience.

Exactly. They are getting more and more like Christendom every day. I agree that we can have fun with the bible in the proper context but when it comes to preaching, it’s not a comedy show. Plus as you say it is very juvenile. Not too far from “New Hope” where they have clowns at their services and serve snacks like nachos.

that what i was thinking. they’re turning God’s word into some kind of game?

Esp now- think how the Eighth King continues its rise to power, the horsemen of Rev 6. It’s a time for focused adherence to God’s word, faith building and preparation for what’s coming.

JWs who’re trifling with things like this are utterly clueless to what lies directly ahead and i can’t think of anything more tragic and profoundly sad. They truly are sheep meant for the slaughter- as the buyers are not held guilty and the sellers bless Jehovah (for they are rich).

Maybe it would be more appropriate for a 'younger' congregation, compromised of mostly young families idk

It's a real shame, and quite frankly, embarrassing that the friends just go along- whether it is out of ignorance or fear, it's deeply grieving to see them ' skinned and thrown about '
