Helping a Witness that wants to throw in the towel.

i watched Robert’s video Leaving Jehovah’s Witnesses. I watched it twice. Robert makes an excellent point about staying in the organization to benefit from the preaching work and the association. I agree with that; however, those two things- the preaching work and associations through meeting together, have been done away with- in fact- that they have been done away shows that the gov body’s apostasy is not only apparent, but complete. Is there any reason left to stay? No.
Very true Kim. And, I too enjoy reading your postings. Thank you.

No one knows at this time whether the spiritual lockdown will be permanent or temporary. Leaving JWs now may be premature. Best to keep your options open.

i already left. I had to because i could no longer subject the public to potential harm
by directing them to watchtower. I really wanted to stay and fade and i tried to fade but the elders would not leave me alone- they relentlessly called me, emailed, texted me and even came to
my house and left notes on my door (too afraid knock and i guess- i was home when they left the notes). it really started to make me upset and my husband too, so in order to stop it, i disassociated. but i never felt any benefit from Zoom in terms of association.

@ a watcher: Id like to ask you....Keeping what options open? Leaving what exactly? It's as if your attempting to sing two different songs that are not in tune. If you fully understand what is at play, it makes no difference. True, it's wise and unnecessary to tout and influence others to leave the Organization. Who dares to be accountable for another? Each one will find his own path. But It doesn't matter either way until God's spirit, angels and Chosen Ones lead and say "This is the Way, Go in It".. Till then, if a person feels their faith is best fortified staying "in", the Org than great. Or even to help others internally and covertly, great! Contrarily, if the person feels their faith will be damaged and the untruths are too much to bear, then let them leave. Either way, if the persons heart is towards Jehovah (Malachai 3:16), that's what counts. Whether youre on the Titanic till the very last second before it submerged, or you jump off when there's an e-watchman boat In the matter, who cares? But I find a trace of subtle fear mongering reminiscent of old propaganda in your statement: "Leaving JWs may be premature. Best to keep your options open" . It is a mute point if you truly comprehend the situation at hand. I understand the frustration being nestled between a rock and a hard place , trust me... no one knows that more than me. I am extremely sympathetic. Nonetheless, this is said with love and respect. If I've interpreted anything incorrectly, my apologies.

Jehu:
i’m not watcher but may i answer? I think there was perhaps a time to stay. Robert mentions in his Leaving Jehovah’s Witnesses video that the preaching work and association provides benefits to staying, but those benefits are clearly gone now and have been gone for two years with the changes the gov body has made. There is no more benefit to staying, and Watchtower will make it more and more untenable for JWs that refuse the vax. MuleJule reported that unvaxxed ones are not allowed to perform kingdom hall maintenance or assist with the elderly, which is appalling because that leaves fewer people to help with the elderly. How dare they do that to elderly. Ironically it’s the VAXXED that present a risk to the elderly not the unvaxxed.

There is no more benefit to staying. Not even to preserve your relationships with those who remain in, i submit that those relationships aren’t worth staying in for, and i have my reasons which i won’t go into right now.

Yes, it’s time to leave Watchtower now.

Exactly correct. The real test will be the choice between Jehovah’s Kingdom and the beast. Just be ready for that. I admit, I am staying on the periphery but they know and clarified that my husband and I have taken a stand against the GB. We will not participate in the meetings nor the new doctrine of following direction that is unusual, illogical or impractical. And, we won’t be turning in time. But we do want to see the correction happen!
