I'm 80% way through reading the Quran (not in order) and I can't fathom how anyone could've seen merit/validity to it, the whole thing so far can be summarized as threatening people with hell every chapter, criticizing the first chapter of John every couple chapters because of Christendom's trinity doctrine, every now and then justifying Mohammed on something and every few chapters telling often inaccurate reframed summaries of events in the Pentateuch, books on the kings and gospels (as well as gnostic infancy gospel and occult testament of Solomon) I get that people are raised with it in violently devout nations and cultures but it's still baffling how over a billion people could respect this thing. I think I'm just going to have to attribute it to demonic generational curses and/or infection from the Kaaba stone. If anyone has any comments on Islam and/or the Quran as far as insight or experiences witnessing I'd love to receive input.
