I take in about $1,000 per month in donations. The pay-per-clicks are locked at $40 per day, which comes to about $1,200 per month. Plus my expense for hosting 6 sites and podcasts and other services is about $5-600 per month.

Robert has anyone else had problems with PayPal or Patron? Do you except checks?

Yes, I did successfully use Patron but it is not user friendly. I really don’t recall how I got to work and so I’m sorry I cannot help you.

Hi Driven, I have tried over and over with PayPal and with credit card only to be told it didn't get to Robert King. New credit cards too. I don't know. Sent questions to Patron to no avail. I can't give my money away.

I know it’s frustrating. I don’t even use PayPal any more. Sorry it isn’t working for you.

Just a suggestion to Brother King. There is a free service called Zelle that most banks offer that allows funds to be transferred into bank accounts by using a phone number or email address. It’s very user friendly. Just a suggestion as an alternative to PayPal and patron

I have used PayPal regularly for quite a few years and never had any problems.

By way of an update, both Google and Bing have made it impossible for me to continue with the pay-per-click promotion of e-watchman. It might be some kind of government regulation, I don't know, but now individuals can no longer use the ad service. They require corporate tax identification. Oh well, I lost my biggest donor anyway (Thanks for your generous support John). I am focusing now on snail mail to the branches and department heads. I might do some press releases to stir things up. Thanks, everyone for your support.

This System of Things/Wicked Age really gets under my skin. It's getting impossible to get by honest means & those who do wicked things get it all. I mean it's why I struggle to focus & be motivated to do much. Sorry this has to happen to you Robert. ☹️

Ever since they decided that I had to spend money yearly or they'd charge me I left them. I really didn't use them much anyway.

I tried to get the couple of bucks of mine out of them and cancel my account but I might as well have beat my head against a brick wall. They can have it. Why companies use dumb policies to push customers away, I'll never know.

But Patreon worked fine for me. I'm not sure what issues others are running into. I pressed the button, choose the amount and filled in the fields for CC.

@Watchman i don’t know what’s wrong with my stupid cc.

anyway the payment was declined (for no apparent reason- apparent being the key word because there is enough on there for the transaction) so i called the cc company and they helped me and it finally cleared.

tearing. hair. out.

ps-
i had entered the wrong zip code cause i moved- my location service didn’t place me in the correct zip code area. Wow it’s very sensitive- they are so afraid of fraud.

im never taking my phone anywhere with me anymore.

i wish my donation had many zeroes behind it the positive integer. that would mean i am flush with money haha. anyway- i will give whatever i can. This forum (the people here) is my lifeline.

i picked up my monthly thyroid prescription it had all zeroes- no integers. i like all zeroes when im supposed to be buying stuff.

They just sent me a replacement CC, six months before it's supposed to expire. I thought it was an early replacement. Le sigh...no. Same expiry date. So I read the letter that came with it and it seems the account "may have been compromised". They go on to explain that it has nothing to do with me.

In other words, they've been hacked again. Great! Now I have to change the number on all accounts that I use the CC to pay. I'm going to quit those clowns. They're getting "Cyber Polygoned" or something.

whatever or whoever it is, it’s all deliberate and being perpetrated by those who we would normally go to seek redress for something like this- aka the ghouls.
If the Disinformation Governance Board goes full force, the e-watchman site could be a target after the political dissidents are sorted out.
