The layered cake of WT Delusion...

This is exactly what I meant by our free will allowing us to make bad decisions. Let me put it another way. Because Jehovah created us with free will, that means we can make the right decision or the wrong one. When we make the wrong decision, it is because of our free will that we are able to do that! So in that sense Jehovah has "blinded" someone because he does not interfere with their free will, as I like to put it, "your right to be wrong." Personally I think this is the best way to understand this, with what we know about Jehovah. Because of our free will he does not force anything on us, so he does not "blind" someone in a literal sense, that would belie our free will.
Yes interesting point. Jehovah gives wisdom to those seeking it. So in that sense ones are blinded because they've not sought after truth. Jehovah can open their eyes as he is the source of truth, but not if they want to keep their eyes shut. So a person has to be wanting to see and Jehovah will open their eyes. Otherwise Jehovah keeps them in dark, blinded.

Isaiah 6:10 speaks of Jehovah making their heart unreceptive: "Make the heart of this people unreceptive, make their ears unresponsive, and paste their eyes together, so that they may not see with their eyes and hear with their ears, so that their heart may not understand and they may not turn back and be healed."

But Matthew 13:15 explains that it was their own doing, in that their heart had grown unreceptive and have shut their eyes: "For the heart of this people has grown unreceptive, and with their ears they have heard without response, and they have shut their eyes, so that they might never see with their eyes and hear with their ears and get the sense of it with their hearts and turn back and I heal them."

It's so strange having witnessed it. When I've spoke to some about how wrong this is, going beyond what is written, that we shouldn't be trusting man, it really does seem as if it's gone over their head, they've heard it but it doesn't sink in. There's been a few instances now that's made me realize this.

what if the GB doesn’t have blinders on about certain things- like it knows full well when something isn’t right, yet plows ahead anyway.

As for the deep things of Jehovah, and the prophesies about Christ’s second coming, it def has blinders on.
I think you're on the right track. "They will have to know that I am Jehovah" starts with his own people. Saul knew in his heart that David was destined to replace him (he admitted such after David cut off a piece of his coat) but his pride ("Jehovahs bad spirit" or allowance for free will, as was discussed) wouldn't allow him to concede. Same with Pharoah, he also knew Jehovah was in control but pride...and the Pharisees, knew Jesus was the messiah but pride...the GB knows they are acting as the evil slave and its the WT organization who fits all the prophesies (not Christendom) but pride...

Speaking of cinnamon rolls, one time I made them from scratch with croissant dough and the icing was maple flavored cream cheese icing. They were what the Hawaiians call “ono” meaning yummy.

yep. I’ve been giving this more though and i reread Kingdom Bulletin 20 before reading 21 and this Gov Body’s main problem, i beiueve, is money. Gov Body members continually harangue JWs for more more more in donations and Lett said that more money is going out than coming in (why?- what are they spending it on? Labor is free. They’re a 501.C3 so they’re a tax deductible charible organization, what on earth are they spending all that money on?) imo, that’s the very thing that they love most. Love of money stabs one all over with many pains.

Yes, I made croissants from scratch and laminated the dough. That’s what they call it when you layer the butter with the dough that makes it fluffy.

whoever invented that technique must have been smart.

i’ve been watching a lot of French Cooking youtubes and one of the latest ones was about crepes with béchamel sauce with ham and duxelle. TDF.

There is a new update video #3 just posted this morning. It’s Jackson and it may be my imagination but he appears to me to have aged since the last time I saw him on a video. It shows the meetings with the majority of the friends in masks and he says how wonderful it is to meet together “mask to mask”. He also points out that the wars foretold will be near and far and this has been happening since 1914. Then he quoted part of Isaiah 30:15 about keeping calm and showing trust. Don’t watch too much news on the TV but watch the news on the JW website. Then of course there was the compliment to the GB for providing the 1st volume of this year’s Awake as “food at the proper time”.

Today I thought of a profound reason why none of us should wear masks. I posted about this before how the left loves these masks, and how you see them littered everywhere. The party of abortion, LGBTQING, the party of that believes a man can be a woman, and a woman can be a man, the party of the Clinton Body count. The party of the propaganda career congenital lying leftists communists, MSM, who never saw a lie they didn't like, the party of the KKK, basically everything the represents the worst possible segments of human society, and those people are the ones wearing the masks. Then I thought why don't they want us to wear a beard? "My mother said "it's worldly." whatever that means. But isn't that the best possible reason to not wear this stupid mask? If somehow wearing a beard identifies me with the world, and I shouldn't wear one, although no one except JW's thinking anything of someone wearing a beard, shouldn't we reject masks for the same reason. So all these things were going through my head then I heard that guy Alex (something) "prime Time 99" who has been doing the town hall meetings that are so funny, where he tried to get City council members to join the Ukraine foreign legion, he said today "the mask is the MAGA hat of the left."

So I think I have the best possible argument from now on why I won't wear that mask. Wearing a mask is a political statement of the left, and in order to remain neutral none of Jehovah's Witnesses can wear masks. Because we obey "Jehovah as ruler rather than men", and whatever supposed "health benefit" masks provide, is overridden in the same way we cannot accept blood. But it is a fact most people both on the left and right, identify masks with the Democrat Party. So wearing a mask is like a wearing the Nazi arm band!

I actually think some of them are closet atheists. That is another possible explanation for their utterly bizarre behavior.

Well, I can't speak for the prostitution part...:)

Wow! I never even contemplated that but it could very well be true. They could just be bent on manipulation. If KGB members could infiltrate and become elders, anything is possible. 🤔🤨

on their best day, they are without faith.

When that video of Tony Morris at Bottle King liquor came out, what stood out more than his obvious alcohol problem was the guy who took the video gave himself to Tony on a platter for an informal witness. Tony said nothing- took no opportunity to declare Jehovah’s name, or his Kingdom. It was so odd- so counter to what we are as witness’s of Jehovah.
