When I was a boy in Arkansas, my dad had me and brother go up to our neighbor’s crop field. Too big to call a garden. He shared corn, beans and melon with us so dad wanted us to try to deal with the crows eating the corn. They saw us before we even got close. Evidently they already knew what shotguns looked like.
they got smart to it I’m assuming- because they fly just out of range. Just enough to taunt you.

And as if that weren't enough, I have one other odd request that all the pets I have ever loved and lost would get their lives back and be able to live in happiness forever. I miss them so much! Jehovah has the power and it is written, "You are opening your hand and satisfying the desire of every living thing.” Ps. 145:15, 16. Dream big!
Love your ideas! And especially having all the pets back - then just for a little 'icing on the cake' - a herd of friendly elephants to come visit my little beach cabin every day, and dolphins to surf with me every morning, early.

That is something I would like to experience as well, - the expanse of space. What does it expand in to? Folding space is a theory that may become reality.
This is something we will not be able to understand for a very long time. Here's something to consider. How do angels travel through space? (And I reject time travel altogether and I'll explain why in another post.) The angels travel through the vastness of space exactly how you described, or at least exactly how we understand it. Folding space, also know as a wormhole etc. But they can do that because they do not have physical bodies. I think in order to do the things that require space travel, we will need to know how and understand what it is and what it means to resurrect someone. I do not think it will involve literally dying, but I think it will be close. The technology will have to "flirt" with death....it will have to suspend the laws of physics, unless Jehovah has already built them into the physical universe. Otherwise we will have to move into the realm of the spirit world. We are confined to this physical plane. At a certain point we would have to evolve beyond this plane, and I have wondered in the 144,000 going to heaven was always part of Jehovah's purpose but in an ever expanding way?

space as in the final frontier or just regular earth space or heavenly realm space? I always figured they had special angel jet-propulsion.
LOL...OK! You know what you call a blonde who dies her hair? Artificial intelligence. Are you dying your hair? If so, you should ask for your money back.

I have never thought about how spirits would travel. That is an interesting thought to be sure. The spirit is an entity. I think that is safe to say. It is already agreed that there are more than three dimensions and time is a factor in that. I think though that the question to ask is ‘What is life?’ I believe, that life is an entity added to the physical body and that’s causes animation. The bible seems to suggest this in that Jehovah formed man and then, breathed life into him. Not then, that the conglomeration of cells that we are, suddenly come alive if gathered together in the same place, which essentially, is the garb of evolutionists. If that be the case, then credibility is given to Jehovah being the reader of hearts - he being the sole source of life. The life within living creatures is to be poured out if we are to eat it. If that is the case, that life animates the body, using blood as a vehicle, (which reaches every last part of the body or feeds it) and that Jehovah is the sole source of life, then it gives credence to omnipresence of the Spirit. It is not beyond the realms of imagination to assume that the Spirit in itself, is a dimension of existence as we perceive it.

The other factor, is that as Jehovah is spoken of as having ‘always’ existed, that the mathematical equation of existence as we know it to be, is of His making. We can assume this to be true, because time is not only a law, and exists by law, but is subject to it. It can be manipulated by gravity. If it can be manipulated then it stands to reason that it is not of itself, a necessary factor in existence. Therefore, that being the case, Jehovah and for those He deems necessary to His objective, can be unshackled from time. Thus if time is not a factor, it does not figure in travel. Therefore, there is also some credence lent to Satan being restrained and this could be achieved by limiting his activities within the bonds of time. I consider it a factor worth thinking about. It will not make sense to many I’m sure. Regardless, that is my thinking to date. Removing time from the equation opens up a different sphere of possibilities to consider.

Some people would call that stupid! LOL
That depends on the recipient! It’s dicing with death when applied to the fair sex. Not that I am flippant about the dangers, but when my wife has her hair done, ($80!!!! can you believe it???) I have already rehearsed a large selection of complimentary comments, pre-prepared, ready to liberally dispense when she gets back. For ‘authenticity’ I have a variable selection ready to meet whatever style it is that she turns up with. Of late, she has been testing my vocabulary, but forewarned, is forearmed.

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

For a knuckle head like you, Nomex you bring up some good points. ;)
All joking aside, I do think humans will ascend beyond what we are now as flesh and bone at some point in the distant future. It might be up to us what we want to do. There will always be humans probably, but I think this stage is just the beginning. It might start out changing our bodies to a different type to survive on different planets. Once we get bored with that there will be a new phases and new phases after that and new phases after that, always learning, always exploring, always creating, and on and on forever. Jehovah always does things in stages, right? And we're told we can't even conceive of what he has in store for us. That's what I think he means by that.

That doesn't mean we can't guess and incidentally be right about certain predictions. Space travel, for example. I'm almost certain we will do that. But even if we're right about XYZ possibility we won't be able to fully appreciate what that will mean for the people alive at that time.

Similarly to how people saying computers would be a big thing back in the day even before the internet. They had no clue just what that would mean for us today. They literally could not conceive of it. Just imagine how much more so Jah can surprise us! So just because we cannot conceive of Jehovah's plans isn't an indictment against using our imagination. I love this stuff. It's real to me, so I reflect on the possibilities a lot. I recognize I'll be wrong 99% of the time. It's the uncertainty that makes it intriguing.

Here's a theory about how prayer doesn't need to travel anywhere to be heard by Jah. It's intercepted instantly because somehow God in still part of us. He's connected to us even now, even in our broken state. Maybe angels can travel in such a way, because humans and spacetime are somehow interwoven in the fabric of reality on the very small scale of things, which I am sure is somehow connected to God's spirit. I'm thinking something like quantum entanglement or something like that we have not discovered yet.

It's either that or maybe they're like the angels in Dragon Ball Super. They can use time travel but only under certain conditions.

Solomon asked for wisdom. That was a good one. Of course, the same knowledge that makes a smart man wise could just as easily turn a wise man into a fool. But that's a long story. The question is, if God granted you the same kind of offer, what would you ask for? I'm sure if Jehovah did anything like this for everyone there would have to be some limits on what you could ask for.

For the purposes of this discussion we'll keep it simple. You can't ask to be God or for god like powers, you cannot affect the free will of others, you can't harm anyone, or raise the dead. Besides Jehovah and Jesus have that last thing covered anyway. As for me, I would want to fly like superman but I don't know if that counts as god like powers so if that wouldn't work, I'd ask for a superior intellect geared towards math. Then I could use it to be a better engineer in the new world. I can imagine running through a field ripping numbers apart with my bare hands like Samson with a PhD in physics. Only less graphic and much more difficult to represent visually.
Kill me like He did Moses and raise me later.

Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that person ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
James 1:2‭-‬8
Wisdom I would say. To understand God's will.
