PHARMAKIA

You are correct not all drugs are evil. Some are completely necessary. I believe the whole Pharmakia subject to be a ruse. Of course there is the Bibles view that spiritism of goes hand in hand with mind altering drugs. Drugs that the Pharmacy sells are not the kind the Bible is referring to. When I see that "Pharmakia" subject being pushed I just ignore it. We as humans are made of the elements of the earth so that means elements of the earth can be beneficial to us. A balanced approach is always important.
And, each person should educate themself as to any side effects or any effects of the drugs they are prescribed. They just cannot leave it entirely in the hands of a medical person. I hope each person asks questions and gets all the information necessary to make the best decision possible for each individual’s health.

I find debating this topic to be pointless, as people have their minds made up. That said, there's always the 3rd party observing the debate who can learn a thing or two.

I can't help but feel this comment was partially directed at me due to my comment on the parallel thread "Pharmakeia." I don't appreciate insults, but I won't respond in kind. I will ask you though, where's your love? Are you a Christian or not? The fact is most internal infections can be cured with colloidal silver or chlorine dioxide, and external infections respond well to raw honey... but since penicillin is natural, I have no issues with it and its natural derivatives, as long as they remain naturally derived. Don't get me started on the applications of vinegar. I just cured my mother's melanoma using oregano oil, as well as using it to cure a spot on my arm... and my sister, who's a RN, is using it on her own skin lesions. My other sister, also a RN, has successfully gotten off of all medications by using herbs, vitamins and minerals. Asthma can be treated with eucalyptus oil, while many mental disorders can be cured using a whole variety of herbs and other supplements. 98% of all cancers are curable. I have chronic kidney disease, but I've been able to reverse it by changing my diet. 12 years ago I was on 8 medications, and was about to go on 2 more, until I started looking into alternatives. Now I take no meds, and feel much better than I did then.

I find that most people are lazy, and would rather take a pill than discontinue their unhealthy lifestyle choices. I know for a fact that diseases like HTN and Type II DM are curable by diet and lifestyle changes. As for Type I DM, that's another story, and I have no problem with insulin, since it's a naturally occurring substance that science simply duplicates. I'm a very black and white person Biblically. Either Satan is or he is not in charge of this system, which includes the medical system... that said, not all who work inside the system are controlled by Satan. Trauma medicine is one example of positive medicine I support. I follow Jesus command to be no part of Satan's world. I made my stand, and I'm living with it.
Carl, can you help me? You seem to be very knowledgeable about pills. I have never had high blood pressure but the Doctors say I have had a mini stroke. So, I take atorvastatin 40 mg at bedtime. Also, metoprolol 25mg cut in half, take halves morning and night. Would you take these pills? Do you think I should?

Our brains are 75% cholesterol, so I’m against statins, as they lead to dementia. In societies with long lifespans they find higher cholesterol levels. I was joking with a friend about threshold cholesterol levels a few years back and said, “just watch, they’re going to lower the acceptable level to be able to get more customers.” Then to my dismay they did just that.

I don’t like to give out medical advice about discontinuing medications, so I’ll only say what I would do. If you want healthy blood vessels look into a supplement called “Pro-Argi-9.” It was developed by a nephrologist who had horrible atherosclerosis. Testing showed he had the arteries of a 70 year old at age 35. His undergraduate degree was Biochemistry, so he developed the supplement to fix himself. By 40 his arteries looked like he was 18.

There's a phenomenal docuseries called the "Cult of the Medics" broken up into several episodes/chapters. I have encouraged, begged & pleaded with so many Jw friends + fam to please check it out. It discusses the history of the medical institutions, alchemy, the church, pagan worship, the history of human sacrifice in all parts of the world, the Red Cross Org ( including it's role/involvement in "the blood business" ) and other associated institutions, such as the "Order of the Knights Hospitalers" and other infiltrated organizations, an entire episode titled "Pharmakeia", the covid pandemic, history of vaccines, the AMA, and much more.

People that believe in the Bible will find it esp interesting IMO. I am currently waiting for episode/chapter 8 to drop, as it is an ongoing series. I'm getting ready to watch the trailer for it right now. 🍿 🎬 😋

Just finished episode 5, it is extremely informative. The only thing is they've not made much emphasis on the True God, which I think they've done to appeal to many religious beliefs.
I'm a bit wary of who to share this with because this is some very deep stuff. I feel it could be of detriment to some rather than beneficial.

@Driven

wow, that feral kitty story is amazing. Good for you for taking care of them. poor things. They didn’t ask to be born. /-:
I hate cats. They knead and claw you til you bleed and never stop begging for tuna. I feed about 20 at work. That gets expensive. I've been counseled a few times about it but what are they going to do, fire me? We can't even get anyone to replace the people who have left. There are literally tens of thousands of stray cats around my city.

Yes, it is very deep stuff indeed. How do you think it could be a detriment? You mean cuz the truth if it all is disturbing and often dark.. or something else?

MEOWWWW

i always loved cats my whole life and i always had a cat or two my whole life until one year my husband and i went out of the country and we were gone for months. when i got back i found out my son had somehow “lost” one of my cats while we were gone- and my daughter had gotten a puppy. a pug. I said: someone better go find my cat and oh btw, get rid of this dog, ew.

We never found the cat, and about two weeks later i had completely bonded with that dog. I still have him and i don’t have any cats anymore. but i dont hate any particular animal (except maybe for guinea pigs, oh and i hate spiders and murder hornets).

I spent some time in Athens, Greece, my daughter lived there and she went to school in Greece and we used to have these cats that came around, they were all feral and they were numerous- this guy who owned an olive wood shop below his apt always fed them and took care of them. It was my first time exposed to cats cats everywhere.

Honestly I’m a dog person and really not a cat fan per se but I have to admire how they are incredible animals and have so many interesting characteristics. And, they can be very beautiful, like miniature lions. Since my dogs died and I don’t want to replace them for various reasons, one being what happened in China when the authorities just took people’s dogs and beat the to death on the sidewalk, I find that I miss having a pet. But I am so lonely for a pet that I started feeding the wild birds. That got too expensive too and so I began feeding the cats. Then the mother cat brought her baby kittens to my patio and the one was dying so what else could I do but help as best I could. Plus it was a good test for the CDS. Anyway, the feral cats at least partially satisfy my desire to have a pet and if there comes a point where I cannot feed them, I know they can definitely fend for themselves and they don’t “pine away” for human ownership like a dog would if I moved. I am definitely on alert to becoming a “cat lady” which I don’t want to do.

It got so bad at work that when I roll in on the John Deere Gator, the cats come running. One used to follow me around at work. I brought that one home. Another one whose mom got run out of the storage area she was hiding in was left on her own. Mom was too scared to go back for a while so I took that one home too. Had to learn how to dropper feed. I've got four and I'm holding at that lest I become a cat lady.

do you know how quickly it evaporates? i put it in my dogs water bowl but i don’t know how often to change it out.
For the cats I just change the water once in the morning and keep it out of direct sunlight. Its definitely having a notably good health benefit for them.

I feel for certain people I know this could be too much information at once that could lead them off a cliff, destroying their faith in God altogether. I think people should definitely be made aware of these realities though.

Make sure and actually clean the bowl too. Saliva and the sitting water can make a film and bacteria. I take a sponge and scrub my cats' bowl once a week. They still drink out of the toilet on occasion so that is a concern as well.

pugs shed so bad- they molt into a new pug every three days. the hairs are tripled barbed and stick to everything. Thanks for the heads up. I clean their water bowls everyday. they drink a lot of water because i probably walk them too much. /-:
