i wonder when they begin to betray each other, that if they do so out of a base reach for survival.
They won’t be (aren’t) prepared for any of this- up until I discovered this website and the scriptural prophetic insights on Christ’s second coming and the prophetic denunciations along with it, i never read these scriptures.
Even if i had, and i may have read some of them, they were largely meaningless. JWs don’t discuss these scriptures- as e-watchman has said many times over- they’re relegated to the past.
That’s why the scriptures say it will come in an hour you do not expect. Who would have ever thought that expected hour would be in the past, and not the future. Jehovah is amazing in how he reveals and fulfills prophecy.
I just can’t imagine how awful this will be for many of them.
But Jehovah will bind up their wounds.

It's why we need to consider history. When the Roman empire went after the Christians, Nero was the current emperor & he had brought a great slaughter on them. The methods that were used were extremely violent, painful, & gory. I could just imagine the terror those brothers & sisters went through with the immense adrenaline coursing through their minds. Tradition even says most of the apostles weren't spared from Nero's wrath. The friends have it so comfortable in most parts of the world that they don't even consider martyrdom to be a possibility.

This would be the wound that the 7th king receives, more likely from Russia? But the 8th king will then arise ?

There can be only an economic and geopolitical war in order for the 8th king to arise. A real world war will be about survival and no part will hesitate to use nuclear weapons. This is what Satan wants. I don't believe God will permit that. It is Him and Jesus that will bring this world to an end in his terms so that His Name will be vindicated.

There is this: Revelation 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
That is the only scripture that even comes close but temp wise we aren't there yet and that scripture may or may not be symbolic. We have had a few really strong heat waves in my lifetime. On the California coastline they occasionally have what are called Santa Ana winds which lock the heat in along the coast until the inversion changes. Last one I experienced was in 1977. We get the same thing here in Phoenix.

Check out this guy's substack. He lives in the area and reports on some surprising things going on in Russia. Let's just say it's "WEF business as usual" in that country.
It was a real eye-opener for me on just how bad it is in Russialand.
