I posted this in a comment, in one of the topics here, but I have been thinking about this the last couple days and I want to share what I'm been thinking about.
Before I post I want to make this a disclaimer. I am all too aware no matter what we say, may have the exact same result, go against the GB=apostate, but what I have been thinking about is a way to challenge them without even them realizing we are challenging, "Jehovah's channel."
So, first of all, I am sure we all know, Jehovah's Witnesses have been called and labeled a cult for many years. I first heard this accusation when I was very young. So I have had many decades to think about why JW's are not a cult. So it really comes down to one thing. We follow Christ (the Bible) and not men! If we are following men, we are in fact a cult.
So a conversation with a JW on the subject would go something like this. "The reason we know we (Jehovah's Witnesses) are not a cult is we follow Jesus and the Bible, and NOT MEN! The GB has admitted and published in various Watchtower articles going back decades, the GB and by extension, the Faithful and Discreet slave, are not inspired, infallible and they are imperfect men who can and do make mistakes, in things like direction and even doctrine! As recently as he Feb 2017 Watchtower brought this out. At the end of the day we each one of us are responsible for ourselves and the GB are not masters of our faith. So we do not follow men, and we know the GB are neither sealed or "ruling as Kings and Priests at this time". So we have to make our own decisions about things like how to respond to Covid masks and vaccines, it is not up to men who do not and cannot know what Jehovah knows, even if they admit they do not know, yet imply that they do know!"
Feel free to ad lib...but keep in mind the idea is to make them agree with you without knowing that's what they are doing...so maybe leave off the last part I wrote...LOL...then again, maybe by then you've drawn them in enough to make them think about what you've said without rejecting it wholesale!
The reason I was thinking about this is I have a relative who no matter what we say agrees with us...that is no matter what we have allowed ourselves to say! We aren't stupid. In any case, they act like every argument we voiced was reasonable and had merit, that's because it did, she agreed with us, and yet got the vaccine.
In any case, I thought making them defend that they are not "in a cult" would be a good way to wake people up to the reality of what they are living.
You could also add something like, We know this is Jehovah's Organization." The Jews were to, until 70 C.E.
Also, wheres the scriptures about "boldness"...this entire garbage was based on fear! And the GB presided over a world wide brother hood of fear of "dying"...we're all dying! Like I have said many times, "we don't need a vaccine, we need God's Kingdom."
Expletive...LIARS!
