Better stock up!

May have already been mentioned, but flour will need to be frozen for a few days before packing because of boll weevils or their eggs (the reason you don't eat raw cake batter). After that, store in air tight containers (or include the desiccant packets for food you can buy on Amazon). It can last for years that way - but otherwise flour will eventually go bad in a year to 18 months. You may consider that process for rice or even dried beans as well (they say storage can be prolonged for 25 years). Honey lasts forever and needs no special handling and has antiseptic properties.
I found this method of containment recently. Perhaps you may know of it but I'm sure someone here would like to know!

All rice contains arsenic, brown rice contains most while Basmati rice the least.
Washing thoroughly reduces that greatly.
My Indian friends eat rice daily and seem to have no I'll effects from it. I think balance is the key.
I didn’t know rice has arsenic in it…who would’ve thought! I grew up eating a lot of rice and I’m still here so. 🤷‍♀️
All I buy now is Basmati rice…it tastes better to me anyway.

What an incredible job of dumbing down the KOTN has achieved. Keep all the interesting scientific development to themselves for Malthusian purposes...UNESCO for instance. We are truly in an undeserved position of knowledge.
Of course it's like this. People like Edward Leedskalnin, Nikola Tesla, Thomas Ogle, etc. have have great ideas & those ideas never see the light of day. Rudolf Diesel had succeeded getting his invention to the public & he was found dead floating in the Eastern Scheldt.

A litany of dead sceintists as well as presidents. Daniel 7:19 gives them acclaim: "Then I wanted know about the fouth beast, devouring and crushing, trampling down what it left with it's feet"

It really shows how the oligarchs value control more than prosperity.

I've recommended it before in the past but I am again that people look into shielding there cars electrical systems if your vehicle is one of the few in your area still working (as long as you still have fuel) that gives you a mobility advantage over most.

I know nothing but faith will get us through the trib. However, I am prepared as best as possible for food riots. I simply will not participate. I have easily a years worth of 25 year survival food, canned hams, chicken , cooking oil, coffee, liquor and such. Probably a hundred pounds of rice and beans as well. And a way to cook. Water storage is a bit more difficult. I do have 30 days' worth stored. I have a quiet alternate power source as well. Solar lights, 100 hour candles, LED light sources etc. And my home is hardened. At least enough so that it is not at all easy entry. And three bible translations as well LOL.

I might be able to last a couple weeks with what’s on hand.
I don’t intend to stockpile food.
Remember those greedy Israelites who tried to load up on more than a days worth of manna? I know, I know, apples to oranges comparison but the emphasis was to be reliant on Jehovah for each days supply of food

I agree however Jehovah said there would be food shortages was that not a warning for us to be prepared for it?

Good point you make sister Melinda.
I guess the proverb “the shrewd one prepares for the storm he sees approaching” applies equally well. Or could such a seemingly flippant attitude be viewed as “putting your God Jehovah to the test”? Perhaps.
Each person will have to prepare for the unknown according to their own situation and means.
There is the real possibility of one’s being displaced from their home during the tribulation on account of nuclear fallout, earthquakes, civil unrest or even their own death which renders their supplies worthless at that point.
I believe Jehovah will bless whatever preparation we make for those times as long as they’re made in faith.
“Blessed are you when you’ve come to the end of your rope because then there will be less of you and more of me.”

That's pretty tough if you've got a late model car. The truck I racked up recently had 12 computers in it. These nuts now a days have a computer for everything in a vehicle and it's really not necessary. If you can protect the computer that meters fuel and times spark/valve timing, etc that might be enough. It's honestly easier to buy a mid 80s vehicle in good shape and rehabilitate it. The computer, if they had one, was fairly easy to see bolted to the firewall or fender. There was also a bunch of electronics in the distributor. You'd have to protect that too.

Just buy a horse and become his/her best friend. :)
