It’s sad that the GB have not made provision for all the apostate liars! I was rather hoping to attend. I shall just have to go to the watchman convention instead in Detroit. Should be a good drama too and a psalm singalong as well.

Two things are curious in this announcement:

They are both in the notes for the body of elders:

• Please do not impose arbitrary rules on who may access the live program, nor provide access to the live program indiscriminately. (1 Cor. 4:6; 2 Cor. 1:24) [Paragraph 2]​
• Only an elder may approve access to the program. Inform those who are provided with the link that they should not share the link with others. [Paragraph 3]​

The reference to the apostle Paul's first letter to the believers at Corinth is on not going beyond the things written. The second reference is to the apostle Paul's second letter to the same believers, on the matter of not lording over the faith of another.

According to "the things written," may very well have included Jesus' own words recorded in the Matthean gospel, when the Great Teacher says that "You received free, give freely." (Matthew 10:8)

Be that as it may, it's strange that the Society can write "Please do not impose arbitrary rules on who may access the live program" and THEN proceed to write "nor provide access to the live program indiscriminately" which seems to suggest that the respective body of elders ARE to discriminate.

Perhaps Isaiah speaks to this when he was inspired to write:

Therefore the Lord said: “These people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Their worship of Me is but rules taught by men. — Isaiah 29:13 Berean Standard Bible.

They are afraid that everyone will watch from home - given the cost of travel and time - and thus they will not only look diminished, but lose out in “donations”. If they open up a section in the stadium for the disfellowshipped, disgruntled and denied then they will clearly be overwhelmed by attendees, though heavens knows what the “contributions” may be!! It’s a strange contradiction in terms because everyone with insight can see that they are moving towards an evangelical setting - minimal costs, maximum contributions, jet planes for all gb members and a place at the UN.

What exactly is pure worship?
Firstly, the watchtower has never actually taught pure worship. What they actually teach is the concept of an idea of mostly there own! During Solomons rein is the only official time "Prue Worship" was enjoyed by the people and we have Jehovahs personal exceptance of it by entering the temple in a cloud of brilliant light! After that, worship was somewhat tolerated for the sake of bringing in the Messiah..
In any case, we know how that ended! The only time pure worship will be in place is in the future outside the confines of the money grubbing watchtower who will no doubt be offering some piece of regurgitated literature at this pure worship assembly so-called for a donation.. not to mention a begging for dollars talk!
Its my hope the master arrives soon and once again drives out those who are not fit to serve!

Classic "gaslighting". The society are masters at messing your head up to keep you in a flux of anxiety.

Exactly so! The only pure worship that I can think of is that of Christ when he was upon the earth, and who “spoke nothing of his own will, but that of his father”. Certainly as you say, there was a time in Solomon’s reign of, ‘acceptable worship’, and it was undoubtably kind of Jehovah to bless the effort by representation of His presence, but how can purity come from a state of sin? Surely if worship is pure it is not tainted by sin - hence the ransom and the need, or rather the requirement for it. And the sacrifice is still applicable is it not?

This is just the sort of spin watchtower takes for itself in praise of the governing body as though through their self appointed glory and honesty, both fictitious, that ‘they’ have achieved purity in worship and that Jehovah has found it acceptable. I presume that was ‘confirmed’ through their equally fictions ‘channel’. The claim actually usurps the role of Christ in establishing the kingdom upon Earth where in time, pure worship from a pure understanding of the truth and meaning of the attributes of Jehovah are fully understood. One might ask how truth and understanding of it can be given when we do not even have the grasp of insight into it, let alone its meaningful completion.

At present, watchtower’s understanding of pure worship is tantamount in comparison to a man buying his wife a new washing machine for her birthday. A total lack of insight into her value as a wife and her values as a person.

The gas lighting is on a whole other level with WT. "A perfect organization run by imperfect men." How many times have I heard that over the years, and the majority of times I heard it, it was in my own head, because I was saying it to myself. The level of mind control really is masterful. I mean think about it. Even if it was "perfect" as they claim, the minute the "imperfect" touch it, it's no longer perfect. Its absurd. But it's the same kind of reasoning with regard to the Covid Vax. Because we live in an imperfect world, we have to live with that imperfection, but that doesn't mean we embrace it. We live in it in spite of the situation, rather than take advantage of it. It's just another example of them always having an answer, but always having an answer doesn't make it the right answer!

But once gain it reveals the level of their arrogance. Or rather the many levels of their arrogance. It seems it just keeps going up, no need to apologize. "Pure Worship." LOL. Jackson's whole "that would be presumptuous of us", regarding them being "God's earthly channel" proves they aren't drinking their own cool aide, but they sure expect the mindless sheep to drink it. But it also demonstrates something else and that is how badly they need to be humbled! Proverbs 16:18,19...Pride is before a crash, And a haughty spirit before stumbling. 19. Better to be humble among the meek. Than to share the spoil of the haughty.

Good news is though, they aren't going to share anything with any of us, so at least none of us have to worry about being enticed to "share in their spoil"...
