The problem is not so much using fertiliser to grow crops, but using fertiliser to grow enough crops. Also a great deal of land is used to produce crops that would otherwise only be good enough for pasture. The problem is exacerbated by populations gathering in cities, thus causing vast areas of land to be covered that would otherwise be open to domestic cultivation. That tipping point was already evident in the 1600s in the western countries (apart from the USA), but the city Uruk in Mesopotamia circa 4000BC - one of the first recorded cities in the world, they actually used rationing to feed the population, and the farming was overseen outside of the city by - guess who…….the temple priests. In the bible we see that the same system was used in Egypt during the seven years famine. The population we have today would require at least two acres of land to provide basic food for an average family. This is still possible but would not account for various needs for industry to provide basic tools such as a blacksmith and not at all possible if we wanted to maintain our present lifestyle.
But the bible points out that the basis of human life was to be agriculture at the time of creation and common sense points to the usage of natural law in nature for the provision of tools, rather than using chemicals and pollutants. I.e., fission over fusion so to speak. We do not have the technology yet.
The world in which we live is governed by critically precise laws that allow for our existence in every last detail, and it’s just as true to say that, what we do understand of these laws, is embarrassingly little. It’s barely a hundred and forty years since the first word was spoken over a wire, and just a few years since the scalpel was replaced by a laser. Who would have thought that light can cut better than a blade? But as for food, we choose to poison ourselves with chemicals and additives and fail even to bring clean water into the house. One can still get organically grown food, but it’s contaminated with chemicals from the air and from the rain. It’s a delusion. What we need is an organic liver, kidneys and gut and fortunately for us Jehovah thought of that, but it’s gradually failing. Something to do with Adam I believe, who thought he would be better off tending his own garden.

We don't need chemicals to "feed" crops, Comfrey is an amazing fertiliser and grows even quicker than the crops you feed it to. Jehovah is wonderful

There are natural fertilisers such as the one you mention, plus many others such as bean crops that overwinter and are ploughed in during the spring. That, and rotation of crops that feed off the residue of the last years crops is the natural way to grow food. It’s absolutely a perfect arrangement that one crop feeds another by its waste products during growth, not to mention the fallow year for domestic animals to graze and add yet more nutrition. Dust to dust, ashes to ashes. Petrochemicals are not necessary in the general run of things. Exactly Barney, but nature's (Jehovah's) knowledge about all things is being deleted/censored/done away with in order to keep us sick or dying and early death. Soon it will only be injections, injections, and more injections, there's an injection for everything under the sun now.. Pero en cuanto a la comida, elegimos envenenarnos con químicos y aditivos, y ni siquiera nos molestamos en llevar agua potable a casa. Todavía se pueden conseguir alimentos orgánicos, pero están contaminados con químicos del aire y de la lluvia. Es un engaño. Lo que necesitamos es un hígado, riñones e intestinos orgánicos, y afortunadamente para nosotros Jehová pensó en ello, pero está fallando gradualmente. Algo que ver con Adán, creo, quien pensó que estaría mejor cuidando su propio jardín.

. Aún no he visto plátanos pelados en las tiendas del Reino Unido, pero siempre sonrío cuando veo cosas parecidas, como champiñones laminados (¡porque son tan difíciles de cortar en casa, claro!) y queso ya rallado, ¡e incluso agua embotellada! (que es un timo total).

Peeling bananas is a highly qualified job in England now Ana, closely followed by kicking a ball into a net or hitting a ball with a bat. Those that are unable to reach that high academic standard are forced to go into politics. All my children have highly paid jobs in banana peeling and I even have one daughter who went on to study orange peeling at the university of Valencia in Spain!!

When I was a kid we had to do hop picking, apple picking, blackcurrant picking, potato picking (absolutely back breaking
) and painting all sorts of little things that you'd find in a miniature train set, sheep, train guards, suitcases etc etc We had absolutely no time at all to learn how to peel bananas too!!

That’s a shame. We did O level AND A level banana peeling at school and I went up to Oxford to study for my doctorate in peeling tomatoes in varying levels of gravity. I believe there was an opening for a degree in hop picking at Cambridge. La capacidad de estupidez del ser humano en estos tiempos es incalculable. Mi amiga que trabaja en un barco de lujo privado, tiene un compañero de a bordo que le cambia los canales de la televisión al dueño del barco, imagina: sube un canal más...no, mejor dos menos...Pelar plátanos es ahora un trabajo muy cualificado en Inglaterra, Ana, seguido de cerca por metro una pelota en una portería o golpearla con un bate. Quienes no alcanzan ese alto nivel académico se ven obligados a dedicarse a la política. Todos mis hijos tienen trabajos bien remunerados pelando plátanos, ¡e incluso tengo una hija que estudió pelado de naranjas en la Universidad de Valencia, en España!
Vaya, no he visto que se haga eso aquí... todavía. Eso es un poco exagerado.
Pelan y cortan un montón de frutas y verduras para los perezosos... ¿pero plátanos? Qué vergüenza.

These things are a warning for all whom are aware of Jehovah. We have the figurative (Roman) “army” at the gates the world over. We have comparative peace at the same time in the west.
We are being told to have our oil ready and it’s not of the edible kind, but of understanding what is required of us. It looks as though water shortage is going to add to our problems, but Jehovah has no problem in producing water from a rock. Is it flippant to say so? Was there water under that rock somehow? If there was, most likely wells would have been around the area, or palm trees, but no. The land was “barren”. There is no record of it. Barren is a picture of the world we need to think upon.
The message is one of faith. Faith when there is no alternative must be prepared well beforehand if it is going to lead us. No water in the tap. No food in the cupboard. No money in the bank. Whether we prepare food and water stores: they will run out. Where we have prepared shelter, we will have to emerge from it at some point. Where we have security, it will be taken from us. For each one of us, we will be offered the “bread” that was offered to Christ but we know before hand that to accept it, we can not. However, as the Bible says to us, from a rock water poured forth, and from the sky fell manna.
The more we accomplish in building the reality of faith, understanding of its substance and origin, the reality of provision from Jehovah becomes more tangible within our mind. We know the reality of what is to come, but is Jehovah a greater still reality in our heart and mind? If our heart is fed on fear, there will always be doubt, but if our learning is taken to heart and we ‘see’ our soul rather than the body, the reality of the Spirit becomes a tangent. You can touch it - but do we recognise what it feels like? It has the expectation of certainty. “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit”. That is what it feels like in the heart. Certainty.
Unlike watchtower, if we report upon the world events as a sight into prophesy, let us also dwell upon the solution. Let us describe the genesis of faith, not of trust in men, as watchtower crave, but in trust in Jehovah who describes with exactitude what is required of us, where it is to be found, and the understanding of its substance that gives it, faith, its tangible meaning and the reality that we can be confident in. It is there: you can reach out and touch it in nature and wonder at it in the very laws that allow our existence. It’s an exhilarating path to tread. Truly awe inspiring and totally irrefutable in its majesty of construction. Prophesy is one thing, but surely Genesis is the reason of the Bible’s existence. The days of creation describe the magnificence of Jehovah.

On one occasion, the disciples had forgotten to bring bread along with them and were concerned not knowing what to do.
Notice Jesus' strong reaction in Chapter 16 verse 8" "Why are you discussing among yourselves that you have no loaves, you with little faith"?
Why did Jesus have such a strong reaction, even referring to his disciples as mean of little faith?
(Matthew 16:7-12) . . .7 So they began to reason among themselves, saying: “We did not take any loaves along.” 8 Knowing this, Jesus said: “Why are you discussing among yourselves that you have no loaves, you with little faith? 9 Do you not yet see the point, or do you not remember the five loaves in the case of the 5,000 and how many baskets you took up? 10 Or the seven loaves in the case of the 4,000 and how many large baskets you took up? 11 How is it you do not discern that I did not speak to you about bread?
Recently, Jesus had performed a similar miracle that they should have learned from:
(Matthew 15:32-39) . . .But Jesus called his disciples to him and said: “I feel pity for the crowd, because they have already stayed with me for three days and they have had nothing to eat. ........35 So after instructing the crowd to recline on the ground, 36 he took the seven loaves and the fish, and after offering thanks, he broke them and began giving them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. 37 And all ate and were satisfied, and they took up seven large baskets full of leftover fragments. 38 Now those eating were 4,000 men, as well as women and young children.
So, could it be that Jesus was disappointed that they had such a short memory? Why did they so quickly forget?
Why wouldn't Jesus be disappointed since, in the very recent past, he had performed a similar miracle, miraculously feeding a crowd of 4,000 men as well as women and children. Jesus' disciples witnessed this miracle themselves and even assisted Jesus in distributing the food.
No doubt, Jesus expected that they would have learned from his recent miracle (Matthew 15) where he miraculously fed a large crowd with a few seven loaves and a few fish.
Perhaps, he expected that his disciples would recall that almost identical account. that had occurred in the recent past and the miracle he performed.
Perhaps he hoped they would respond differently, saying.....
"Master, just do the same thing you did on that previous occasion. Perform a miracle and feed the crowds. We have faith that you can do it again."
Sadly, however, that is not what the disciples did and Jesus was rightly disappointed.
How quickly we forget. How quickly we can lose faith.
If it happened to Jesus own disciples, it can happen to us.
Jehovah is good.

What amazes me about this bill gates guy is that he thinks he is immune from the world he is trying to create. He thinks money will save him and his associates will protect him. He does not see that such a collapse in society, that he is so blasé about, will affect him just as much as it will others. There is not a figurative mountain big enough to fall over him and save him from the wrath to come.
