If Jehovah used ancient Israel despite idolatry, corruption, and rebellion, If He used the apostles despite arguments, pride, and failures, then it is no contradiction that He used the Bible Students / JW movement to revive core Bible truths even while they carried doctrinal errors. The Bible consistently teaches that we should not abandon our place in God's organization just because corruption or danger appears. Faithful servants stayed unless Jehovah commanded otherwise.

• Urijah fled by fear → condemned.
• Jeremiah stayed by faith → protected.

During Jeremiah's ministry, he told the Jews in Jerusalem that the city was doomed. The only way to avoid death, either by sword, famine, or pestilence, was to leave the city and surrender to the Chaldeans. They would be taken captive and taken off to Babylon, but they would at least not be killed. Apparently, most of the Jews did not leave and so were killed. Nebuchadnezzar left some of the lowly behind in Jerusalem in the midst of the rubble. Jeremiah told them to stay and not go down to Egypt. They didn't listen either. So, Jehovah told them he was sending his executioner down to Egypt...

It would seem that the whole purpose of warning of a disgusting thing standing in a holy place it ought not would be to send a crystal clear sign for the faithful to get out of that holy place or the modern day Christian congregation.
Could it be the FDS which is the holy place? They’re not appointed as such until Jesus actually returns and the sealing gets done. Although unknown at present the gov body assumes that they are.
The eighth king doesn’t ascend until after the sign of the son of man is seen/perceived and I think after that there is only a small window of opportunity for all people on earth to either throw their lot in with Jesus kingdom rule or join rebellious mankind and clamor for the mountains to fall over them and protect them from Jesus as absurd as that sounds.
I’d think everyone’s bed is made at that point and there’ll be no need for further signs to afford opportunity of escape.
In my opinion, it’s more likely that the future eighth kings current agents, namely the Freemason’s along with other organs of global oversight such as the UN and the WHO have somehow infiltrated the WT leadership and have been steering policies
as can be seen by the secret ngo alliance WT had with the UN back in the nineties and more recently their backing of the WHO’s directives with the vaccine requirements.
It might be difficult for rank and file to see the Freemason connection but the gov body cavorting with the WHO won’t require to much discernment.
