August Watchtower

It's funny you mentioned this, because I was talking to a friend of mine, who's an evangelical, and of course believes that God is going to fight for Israel, about two weeks ago, and it occurred to me, that like the R&F of JW's they will also be confronted with their false beliefs and be forced by reality when Israel is in fact destroyed, just like when WT is destroyed!!!
I was just thinking of the most frequent of questions by existing governments and Religious organisations to their A.I consultant is 'How can we win the election or stay in power while being predominantly hated by the electorate or our congregants!'

I think it was Machiavilli who coined the axim: "Obtain power by any means and hold on to it at any cost" How grateful we are to have Jehovah and Christ and their incoming Kingdom because they will have to be as Pr2:22 describes "As regards the wicked they will be cut off from the very earth and as for the treacherous they will be torn away from it"...torn away because that's how much they hold on! Like Velcro we will hear the rip!

How truthful the education of Holy Spirit when informing us that 'The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.' When identifying the eclection of world powers that are in Revelation13 described with seven heads upon it's horns 10 diadems and when describing the dragon being thrown down in Rev12 again seven heads ten horns ten diadems....He has been in power the length of world ruler ships soon now his time is up. Jah's Kingdom and Christ come!

This of course is their M.O. When I first learned of the major problem with CSA which was about 20 years ago, I was so shocked and traumatized by it, coupled with the fact that I knew WT had the basics correct, things that I could never be convinced were not true, because I had reasoned so many of those things out that I knew for example there was no chance that the Trinity and immortal soul were biblical, because of those things I was looking for a 'way out" so to speak, regarding what I had learned. So I could not entertain back then that the corruption went all the way to the top, and was laid directly at the feet of the GB. I so, when I found the videos of WT's media person saying something to the effect, "we report Child abuse to the authorities, but it's those pesky elder bodies that don't listen to us, their the one's causing this problem"...(that is not meant as an actual quote, but rather what they meant us to believe, and I did believe it.) Again they remind me of the left, always blame someone else for what you are doing.

And nothing proves the GB's contempt for Jehovah's sheep than when David "comb over" Splane said, "some may ask, 'what do they know'. Wrong question. The right question, (pointing to the heavens), what does Jehovah know." Oh and let's not forget Winder's comment, "we don't have to apologize, because that's how Jehovah does things." Yeah, again it's never their fault, it's those pesky sheep and Jehovah who misleads them...it would be funny if they weren't blood guilty and killing people with their demonic decrees.

And I just thought of this, you could argue that the GB aren't really running things, it's their lawyer's, but who did Jesus give the talent too? He didn't give it to the WT lawyers...and that reminds me of the wicked slave who buried his talent! " ‘Master, I knew you to be a demanding man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you did not winnow'"....(yeah, it's not their fault, it's the masters fault for allowing them to get it wrong.)

They are in so much trouble!!!!
They really ARE, they really ARE 😬 it's so scary how much trouble they're in that it's making me try and be a better person for Jehovah every day. I really don't want to see what's going to happen, it's not going to be a nice sight.. 😬

Can you imagine the division this is going to cause and the gossip among the brothers and sisters will be uncontrollable
You know, I have always liked Tony Morris. I didn't take the tight pants thingy that seriously. I am beginning to think he was booted out for following his conscience. Wouldn't be the first time.

Actually, I understood exactly what he was trying to say about "tight pants" 😝 One good thing about Tony, he was the only GB member who had any kids, that makes a world of difference in how you can empathise and see certain things. Not sure if the two new ones have any kids 🤔

If there was a proper and equal association within the congregation, then the “tight pants” question would never have surfaced. It is the assumed authority of watchtower, and the general misunderstanding of “advancement” within the congregations that has led to an “us and them” culture. This in turn divides, though it is not recognised as such, but referred to in terms of rank - servant, elder, circuit overseer, helper - and so on. This often leads to those with true spiritual licence whom by dint of understanding the wisdom of Jehovah, tend to be over-reached by the system just as many of the anointed were and still are.

I believe I am correct in saying that anyone could get up and speak freely in the temple, to share truth, understanding, to ask or to question. But is that evident now in the congregations? Only to repeat what is said in the watchtower it seems. Otherwise to remain silent and passively absorb what one is told without question. In different times, age and experience were of value. Children would be collared by such ones and irrespective of parental charge, would advise young ones in their dress and manners and it would be appreciated because the truth is a greater family still. Therein is unity born and cultured. What does watchtower do but breed suspicion and separation under a false understanding of what truth and society should be. They replace it with their thinking, based on an isolated seat of power, distant and separated from reality and barren in spiritual insight. Even in my day, dressing was an art form where, especially with the fair sex, the allure was in what was not seen, but hinted at. Likewise masculinity was in deportment and strength of character, where rolling up a sleeve to reveal a beautiful biceps was secondary to what was in one’s eloquence of mind. Watchtower thinking and practice is of the heads down in a phone genre.

I just noticed that this issue also has a footnoted "Note to Readers," which I didn't see on any other available issues during my immediate and brief double-checking. I guess that makes this particular som'n special.

Probably added by winder trying to endure the content was “channeled” to them rather than that they had anything to do with it.

My son used to take umbrage at all his "shepherding visits" about how his suits didn't fit around his buttocks, thighs and biceps (he's always gone to the gym) and he used to say "I wouldn't mind mum but those elders shirts don't fit around their huge bellies.. poor kid!! Those same elders have recently made him a ministerial servant, even though his muscles can clearly still be seen 🙄

Well it keeps the attention of the sisters and adds to attendance! Good for him! 🤣 I had an elder come out on the ministry with me once and he couldn’t even get the seat belt over his waist !

You can't do right for wrong as they say. You want to keep toned and healthy that's wrong. But they don't mind you having a big belly that might cause you health issues. 🤪
I know 🙄 I think it's ok if you're toned and healthy and you wear a "tent" but if you've eaten too many doughnuts and drunk too much beer it's ok to show it off 🙄
