“A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly instructed will be like his teacher.” - Luke 6:40. If we continue to advance and progress to the level of our teacher, Jesus Christ, we will eventually become like him!

With Jehovah’s spirit no doubt in the future we will hopefully attain that. Beautiful scripture.

We can start putting an honest and sincere effort now, and gradually we will see the effects even now...:)

There are things that instruct us that are not in the Bible. Our God given conscience for example. We have to understand what the meaning of words actually mean. Adam and Eve were perfect. Yet they sinned. Does that mean based on that scripture that they were not perfectly instructed? The only instructor Adam and Eve had was God, Jehovah. Were Adam and Eve like their instructor? Or was Jehovah's instruction not perfect?

Perfection does not mean that you cannot misapply your free will...

It sounds like you guys are reading the same book, just on a different page kinda thing. Joel is quoting something that Jesus said, and is putting faith in what it means. Nomex, you believe the same thing, yet are looking at it from a wider perspective regarding free will and such. You are both right...lol.
