Found this online. might be good to have.
Love the .22 LR round.
Back when my eyes worked, had a Ruger 10/22 with which I could group 5 rounds through a 5 inch diameter target from the shoulder free standing at 25 meters with just the stock open sights.
With a cheap red dot sight could keep the grouping in a quarter size hole all day.

Now I couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn if I were inside the barn.

I guess once I'm dead I really don't concern myself with what they do with my carcass. In that in between stage though, when they're trying to sell off your parts, that is where I am concerned.
I may or may not have told this story but this seems like a good time to retell it.
My ex-wife, one of Jehovah's Witnesses her entire life told me this. She had an aunt who was JW also and needed a kidney removal. That was the doctor's determination. Surgeon gets inside of our sister and sees that she has three kidneys, not two. In a flash, surgeon determines the dollar amount for the extra kidney that she didn't know she had anyway. You with me so far? We are Jehovah's Witnesses and we don't take blood transfusions and worse come to worst, we accept our fate. Those who judge us with words have no idea what commitment really means.
You know where this story ends. Auntie died on the operating table. The surgeon could not contain what the attending nurses saw so he came clean about wanting to sell the extra kidney. Our sister, my ex-wife's aunt, is still dead to this day because of him. God rest her soul.
That was the state of healthcare in the 1970s.
Where do you suppose we are right now?
I have no idea where we are right now Bill and I’m not sure I ever did know where I was or am now. There is a glimmer of hope though in that Jehovah refers to Himself as the “One who causes to become.” If you look up the term “causation“ in the theory of causation in time, it does give a few pointers into that dimension.🌍

Well I'll be darned! And that round is almost pea sized once it leaves the shell. Almost a David and Goliath situation! :ROFLMAO:
True, but the bear was probably minding his own business only to fall victim to someone who had little appreciation for such a wonderful creature and a world record one at that. I wonder of Robert Wadlow (worlds tallest man) would have thought if that woman had shot him for the same reason. “High mom! I just shot Robert Wadlow!” “Why” “He is the biggest man alive and I wanted the record for shooting the biggest man!” “Oh well done! Ring Guinness records now! Fantastic shot - and only with a 22 rifle!” Sort of puts things in perspective.

Wadlow had smaller teeth ...

Here's a question and I don't have an answer myself rn but if you could only bring one Bible with you what kind would it be if not a NWT (my molle pouch evac Bible is a custom red bound 1984 nwt I got at my baptism with my name and the date of it on it.)

Yep the red 1984 nwt is my current fav. My green 196? that I used when I was baptized must have fallen apart and was discarded🙃😱🤔🧐 I can't find it. But it was a hard back, I like the soft cover better. Compared to other translations that I have, I think it would be the easiest to tote around. For what it's worth...😁

Haven't tried either but you're take on .22 wmr?
That round requires a rifle that can shoot it. Usually a more expensive rifle therefore never had one.
Hottest .22 round I ever shot was a cci stinger.
Years later, when I had the financial wherewithal, I did invest in a few .223 rifles which were nothing more than souped up .22’s that achieved 2750 fps.
The .22wmr travels 1000 fps faster than it’s .22lr little brother and should bring a lot more stopping power to the table with a hollow point affixed. Definitely not a slouch.
