The meeting was generally very good.
But something caught my attention
On the penultimate track • Remain “No Part of the World”
there was a demo
A teacher asked a student if God would destroy the governments of the world
The young man says yes directly
It is pointed out that it is not the best so he is given another chance
In the next scene think about each question
He simply dodges the issue and CHEATS HER
It doesn't tell you directly that god will destroy governments
I was very surprised they simply encouraged the hiding of a biblical truth to look good with the world
It is true that you have to avoid being rude but the young man could simply have said the following
"Jehovah's Witnesses do not say that governments will be destroyed, THEIR OWN BIBLE SAYS SO"
May I show it to you?
"We are just the messenger"
"We are just an index finger pointing to the word of god"
I could read daniel or apocalypse and explain it
Even psalm 2 showing that god gives rulers a chance
In the end it is a basic truth that the kingdom will destroy governments
Why hide it?
Does Christ embarrass us?
Christ said that the lamp is not put under the basket
The world would hate us for proclaiming the kingdom
What they proposed seemed like complete cowardice to me.
They taught to be cowards
To make sure it wasn't a local error look at that part in other countries
It's exactly the same, it had a clear script and they all played the same thing
maybe it was a poorly expressed idea………….
Or perhaps it is the beginning of beginning to destroy biblical truths by order of the beast
Then there was the theme of "jehovah knows who belongs to him"
It was emphasized that if we belong to him we do not have to question anything about him.
Obviously they continue with the same thing of obeying the GB blindly
This week I have the visit and when seeing the titles of the topics it seems that it was about the same
The final prayer of the assembly also dealt with the same
We are bombarded from all sides with that idea
But something caught my attention
