End time Earthquakes?

BREAKING: Another earthquake has been felt in New York City.

BREAKING: Seven earthquakes, including a magnitude 4.4, strike Northern California.


BREAKING: A 5.5 magnitude earthquake strikes off the shore of Japan.

Considering the powers-that-be have technology to manipulate weather(and they were able to do for a while), creating earthquakes may not be far-fetched either.

In 1997, US Secretary of Defense William Cohen said the following:

"Others are engaged in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves..."

I watched his testimony before the Senate numerous times, but the video's been wiped from the Internet... Orwell's "1984" was a warning.

Here are various things I heard.

Older guy in a place I lived: "In the 70's, weather manipulation was often discussed on the radio..."
Popular science magazine in the 20's: "We now have the technology to manipulate weather..."

Apparently, like many other things discussed nowdays, it doesn't seem difficult at all to prove. I thought of creating a small scale machine to prove that theory.

George Orwell wasn't warning anyone though. He WANTED it to happen. Just like H.G Wells. They, among others were planners long before us.

George Orwell, aka Eric Blair, was definitely in on the NWO plans, but I don't think he was an architect of it. I could be wrong; but I get the feeling he was warning us via "Animal Farm" and "1984."

You get real value with Jehovah’s prophesies - one earthquake does for three countries in the east, and another one free in America. I hope Jehovah uses the same economy when they start dropping bombs. I have an in-law off Thailand in the Gulf on an oil rig and he said they had quite a bit of “bending” on the rig.
 
Predictably, in the wake of the Myanmar quake, JW.org published a front-page article entitled: "Great Earthquakes—What Did the Bible Prophesy?" Of course, the same tired reasoning is repeated. In answer to their own question, the article states:

Notice the trickery involved: "earthquakes matches the events we see taking place in our day." Really? Knowing as we do, the WT is referring to WWI and the Spanish Influenza pandemic of 1918-19; how do we see these events that transpired over a century ago "in our day"? How is it possible for people living now to "see" events that occurred long before we were born? Doesn't seeing something imply being an eyewitness or at least personally experiencing the events described, even if indirectly? Obviously, it is not possible to witness or experience World War One. And yet the WT repeats this lie over and over and over again.

Is it possible for world war, famine, pestilence, and great earthquakes to erupt with greater intensity in the future? Of course, it is. Only a deluded fool would claim otherwise.

My son is in Thailand and was fortunate that just before the quake he had moved further down the coast away from the danger.
He was in the heart of Bangkok where the damage had occurred prior to his travels, i am so thankful he left there in time, but it did have me worried while i waited on him contacting me. He is staying there for another few months, that is a worry in itself, thinking that this could happen at any time, as earthquakes are regular over that neck of the woods.

The quote by watchtower regarding the number of earthquakes is not remarkable for our age but consistent with the average amount of earthquakes during the recorded history - so nothing to be concerned about. The damage done and life lost is also pro-rata with the cities we have built ourselves along with the infrastructure - both of which exacerbate the loss of life.

Watchtower remind me of the experiences recorded by isolated people from prison cells to old age people living alone in that they fit events to match their own life experience so that they can make sense of it - a type of harmless confabulation to reassure themselves that all is ‘normal’. It’s usually reflects an entirely different or modified reality, almost beyond recognition by those who face the world in a daily basis. It would not surprise me if one day, brother Lett will look out onto their beautiful lake and see Excalibur rise majestically from its waters grasped in the hand of the “lady of the lake” and that they will appoint Merlin to the governing body.
