If you care to share, when was your most recent one of those moments... that moment when you're beautifully reminded of the beauty beyond the tribulations that come up against our faith on the daily.

Yesterday, after a pretty tough last couple weeks, and a whole lot of uncertainty as far as the job— and for that special spice flavoring, an endangered elderly person has been brought into our lives, and we're helping as we are able as we get familiar with the resources available in the system of things for such ones among our populace. We're praying hard over this one. It's pretty bad, but the available options are coming into focus. Plenty and more.

Did I mention it being an especially tough last couple of weeks?

The sort of stuff where you just throw your hands up, completely weighed down with the anxieties of life, and not a clue except that we got through today, and today will just have to be enough. Someone who was both insightful and wise once noted that tomorrow will have its own troubles (anyhow).

I'll take my Yep to go, please.

I will never take any measure of credit in us getting through these days of late, or ever, really and that's the fact. I can't even tell you how Jehovah is doing it, but here I sit, I am done with the demands of the day and now can commit to my home and family for a few hours before tomorrow dawns on me. (see what I did there? :P )

Anyhow, all that's been going on and yesterday, here I am, pretty much whimpering beneath Life of late at this point, and I'm driving up my street toward home and there they were. I was surprised to see them this early into dusk; it was a first, in fact. Usually they come through around 4-4:30am.

But it's what I needed. When I needed it.

The grace, the gentleness. The speed at which they move, I could go on.

Anyhow, I appreciated getting to see them from down the street, but was secretly hoping they wouldn't flee as I both approached AND still had to back the car in!

Two ran off behind our dying red barn; the one just moved over into the yard more but watched me pretty closely. Still, I was able to take care of business getting the car backed in, moving slow.

The brave one waited a few moments (I didn't get out of the car, are you kidding?!) and then made the way back to what we put in the driveway for whomever (squirrels, crows, pigeons, chipmunks, etc), and here came prancing the other two, and this moment... one of those moments, lingered for a little while longer as they finished things off, and one by one pranced and then leaped off between the barn and our neighbor's house and toward the railroad.

Such elegance. Such harmony and beauty as they each did their part in covering their 360 while chomping away on what Jehovah had provided them by moving Deb and me to be the softies we are when it comes to animals.

It was a scene that unfolded to become what I needed, so full of peace, a reprieve from Life. Evidence that Jehovah is there, even when it's feeling like He isn't.

I said a thankful prayer to our Father in the Heavens— but not before I sorted out how to snap some photos to capture this moment to share with Deb. 🤳

I should've grabbed the drive-cam's memory card, but hindsight and all that. 🤦‍♂️

Anyhoo, I'd enjoy reading about your most recent moment!

Excellent experience Brother Tim!!

My most recent moment of spiritual happy gladness came in the form of a fist pump reaction to (kinda similar to the Tiger Woods just sinks a long birdie putt fist pump) when, as I am driving in my car, my daughter from my previous marriage (when I turned 19 as a new JW) told me via phone that she and her husband had been dropped from the JW.ORG LDC and Disaster Relief programs. Although their work was good for the brotherhood and parts of humanity in general, she is, as of this week, no longer tethered to the operating clutches of the Org and is moving back to her home base in San Diego where her husband has a pool building company that they thankfully and wisely kept afloat for the many years they were assigned to several critical events and duties. That announcement was amazing and something that I prayed daily about for years.

How wonderful to hear your good news.

How fortunate you are to have such animals around you Tim. Here in England one never sees such things. Animal life is confined to estates that have the land to support them. The most I have ever had in my garden is a hedgehog! It is difficult to find much of nature here. Even the skies are empty of birds - except seagulls and a few pigeons. It must have been wonderful to see the huge herds of bison wandering the great plains of America. The amazing wide open spaces and plains of America - what a gift to have. My “one of those moments” is to wake up each morning next to my wife! That indeed is a gift from Jehovah!

You both sound like a lovely, caring, and compassionate couple. As the Bible says, 'Happy are the merciful, since they will be shown mercy.'" (Matthew 5:7)

Thank you for sharing that lovely experience. There are deer where I live as well and I also share what I can with them. They really are beautiful creatures.

My most recent experience of feeling especially close to Jehovah was while recently reading the book of John from the Rotherham Emphasized Bible. It touched me on a deeper level than ever before, as if I was almost actually present and hearing and seeing Jesus speak about how Jehovah loves us and hears our prayers and will answer our prayers when we ask in Jesus name. As I read, some verses literally brought me to tears.

It's amazing how much detail we have in the record of Jesus' life, his words and actions, even though it was nearly 2,000 years ago. His words read from the pages of the Bible as if being spoken at the moment we read them when we tune our heart in and really listen.

Beautiful creatures aren't they? There's an estate near where I live called Chatsworth House and they have herds of Red Deer and Fallow Deer and we often see them when we drive through the grounds. One such drive, we had to stop the car to let them cross the road, they were running and jumping and it seemed to take forever for the whole herd to cross. It was exhilarating 🥰 We've got sooooo much to look forward to that I really struggle to understand those who say they don't want what Jehovah is offering us because it'll be "boring" 🙃🙃🙃

Consider it a privilege Barney to see a hedgehog these days, they're nearly all gone now! My hubby made a hedgehog box and within a few weeks one came and used it to sleep in! We often have 2 hedgehogs grunting around the garden making funny noises. Lovely creatures. The secret to attracting plenty of birds into the garden is fat balls and peanuts, so we get lots of different birds in our garden. We also put a bird box outside our bathroom window and every year the same pair of sparrows use it for 2 lots of babies. It's so entertaining watching the parents trying to get a the babies to fledge 😍 There's also a fair few birds of prey around us and last summer, a young kestrel came into our garden, right near our back door, trying to get a mouse. It's face was a picture when it saw us staring at him 2 foot away! And what a lovely thing to say about your wife 😍 just make sure you tell her too!!

Your comment led me to also read some chapters in the book of John. This left me feeling very encouraged. Thank you :)

Huele a mañanas, diría mi hija.

Why did the org "drop" them?🤔
Very long story alert! My daughter's mom (my first wife) died of breast cancer (unvaxed) in April 2023 and then a month later my daughter who had to take 2 doses of the Covid sauce was diagnosed with breast cancer. Those two situations caused them to have to take "leaves" that lasted several months in duration. The brothers at WT were super nice and helpful, did not kick them to the curb straight away for not being able to perform their duties but let them live in the WT paid for house and then asked them if they would be willing to work the Lahaina disaster to which they said YES to. My daughter was raised on the beach basically and she pioneered in Costa Rica with her husband before they were brought on to the LDC (Local Design Committee) and Disaster Relief, so having an opportunity to live on and experience Maui for 6 or so months met with a resounding YES. She had lived here on Oahu with me and Susan a long time ago before she got married and she has visited Hawaii in general many times as a youngster etc. That shoe fit very well.

So the Brotherhood treated her and her husband really spectacularly, but then just recently she had to take another break to help her step-dad, an elder in a North San Diego coastal congregation, (the male who really did the day to day raising of her for 40 plus years after my disfellowshipping and leaving that original marriage) because he was in the process of dying of prostate cancer (unvaxed). So my daughter's cancer got treated successfully but the treatment took a while, several months of having to go to a cancer clinic at USC in L.A., ALL paid for by the Org. During all her treatments her mom and step dad died, her step dad dying just a little over a month ago. She now has to sell the family home and work on the dual memorial event that comes up in a couple of weeks.

The brotherhood decided to relieve them of their duties because it was just too much for them. They are happy they were in service in that capacity and are grateful to Jehovah and the Org for treating them so well, however, they both said that now that it is a done deal, they will never do that again. It is a monstrous sacrifice and they are truly on their own now needing to find a place to live etc etc. My daughter's husband said he was so thankful he kept his business going along the way. All is good in the hood, on to the next chapter. She has been aware of Robert since about 2006 when I told her I was reading his stuff. Maybe she will begin reading E-watchman again. God's will be done!

Translation to English:

Ana:

Divine moment usually accompany me with the light. I love to see its different faces and shadows, for example. The place does not matter, what matters is light. Everything acquires a deep and defined color when the light falls horizontally. The mornings are not equal in the afternoon, even if the garden is the same. Not even birds sing the same with a light that just appears. What extraordinary creation is light. In addition to our natural light, the Sun, Jehovah also gave him the power to warm up, so we can also add the smell that the earth gives off when after the night the terrestrial mantle is heated. It smells like mornings, my daughter would say. Every day I use my bicycle a sun morning, I could recognize it as a divine moment. Pedaling through orange fields with rocky mountains with a light that makes you put the brake and enjoy the vision for a few minutes while you reach the destination. But when the era of flower orange arrives I can say that the experience is high for others. I think even sigh: Thank you Jehovah! The light and be able to pedal in the morning while we go to school with the smell of orange blossom, it is something that leaves me happy for the whole day. There are many animals in this area. We have plague of wild boars, so meeting them at night is not very safe and it would not be a good time to photograph, better run. Needless to say what my dog of sunlight enjoys. Every morning it is the same, I get up, I open the windows and it is already there, looking with a pounded face to open the garden door. The photo perfectly explains the effect of pleasure that my [female dog} and I feel with the best conjunction, that of the boil and the sun.

Very sad story 🥲 glad your daughter's doing good now.. it'll be lovely once you're all back together 👍 Hopefully she'll wake up pretty quick now. A worldly friend of mine whose fleshly brother was an elder in another congregation till he stepped down once the divisions started over the injections, told me this afternoon, that he was on the door to door ministry with an elder today and they had a bit of a "to do" and the elder told him "The problem with you Mick is that you don't keep up with your vaccinations"!! Poor Mick, said to his sister "they must all be talking about me behind my back because how would that elder know I haven't had any injections if they don't talk about me?" I am sooooo glad I don't go to the hall. They're all mad!! 🫣

Ponjungida!! I’m putting that in my book of polite swear words. Sounds wonderful. I might even use it in a letter to watchtower! Don’t tell me what it means - it will spoil it! 🤣 And……it must be nice to have the sun shine in Spain. We have clouds and rain and one sunny day a year! 💭💭💭💥💭💭💭💭😃

Haha! I must've slept through that one sunny day we had Barney 😅
