Yeah, but he might make it rain something more culturally applicable to our era. Maybe McDonald's. Value Mills everywhere. But no trans fat and it would actually be healthy. Only a God can make McDonald's healthy. It sounds rather like the taste one would get from a naturally fermented dough. Such a food is very digestible and harmonises with the body chemistry naturally. I would not be surprised to see its recurrence come the tribulation given that Jehovah will not fail His people.
That was a very intricated recipe!! Definitely need to be retired, I'm very old and slow these daysIt’s easy: to make a culture, simply mix some flour with water to form a slightly fluid paste and put it in a kilner jar with the lid slightly ajar to let the air in. Leave it for a week in a well ventilated room to attract the right microbes and it should start to rise in a week. If not, replace it and start again. Just about three tablespoons of spelt flour should do. Once it starts to bubble, through away half, (or make a pancake out if it) feed the rest of it on another tablespoon of flour and built up its strength for a week or two until it responds overnight in doubling its size and then you have an active culture. Keep it in the fridge.and feed it weekly. I use an about 250grams for a kilo loaf which lasts me about a week. It does not go stale as long as you do not cut into it the day you bake it. All the moisture is lost. The bread is still fresh after 7 days, as the day it was baked.
I use the Shipton Mill for my flour. They deliver free of you order over £30. They grow their own wheat etc using local farmers and offer many traditional wheats flours from the 1800s all of them grown without pesticides and the mill it themselves - I think in a genuine mill too. I use their spelt. Both whole grain and white and the taste is just magnificent. I sometimes use black treacle as a sweetener especially if I make rye bread. If you want to know how to make good german rye bread ask @Edith There isn’t much she does not know about sourdough.
You can make bread with ordinary yeast though in an hour or two. If you use shipton mill for your flours you will notice the difference and you can always use a machine to knead it for you! No need to retire first!
Even Jehovah Himself cannot make a McFats healthy. “Jehovah cannot lie”.Yeah, but he might make it rain something more culturally applicable to our era. Maybe McDonald's. Value Mills everywhere. But no trans fat and it would actually be healthy. Only a God can make McDonald's healthy.
nosotros llamamos a esos calzoncillos largos, esos que llegan hasta los tobillos, los calzoncillos del oeste!Sí, nosotros los británicos llamamos a la ropa interior femenina "dibujantes". El lenguaje es fascinante, ¿no? :risilla:
Edible draws??!!We got on the subject of draws in a food thread. It all ties in together though. Not to be inappropriate, but there are also edible draws. Candy draws and so forth. So there you have it folks.
I don't know. I think I found the only healthy thing you can order.Even Jehovah Himself cannot make a McFats healthy. “Jehovah cannot lie”.
Yes, edible draws. They've existed for a long time.Edible draws??!!
What do they taste like?Yes, edible draws. They've existed for a long time.
I can't say that I know. I just know they exist. I tried tying in the topic of draws to food. I think edible draws saved the day. Here's a definition of edible draws. What do they taste like?
$11.00 for an empty bag. You were supposed to fry it, add mayo, limp lettuce, a piece of tomato, and the green acidic thing - never found out what it might be - let it get luke warm and then eat it. My wife found a chicken beak in her mcchicken burger once (true), so she took it back to the counter and without even a pause, they offered her another burger.I don't know. I think I found the only healthy thing you can order.
Haha! that reminds me of a mystery shopping job I did receontly in a pub/restaurant. My hubby ordered at the bar and brought my glass of wine over to our table and the glass was absolutely filthy. I took it back to the member of staff and showed her how dirty the glass was so she poured it into another glass$11.00 for an empty bag. How weird, they probably only sell them in those "shops" with no windows!I can't say that I know. I just know they exist. I tried tying in the topic of draws to food. I think edible draws saved the day. Here's a definition of edible draws.
Edible underwear, also known as "Candypants," is a real product – a candy product designed to resemble and function as underwear, but made from edible materials. Here's a more detailed look: Inventors and History: David Sanderson and Lee Brady invented edible underwear in 1975, forming Cosmorotics, Inc.

It's behaviour like this that keeps me in workSounds like British hospitality!
I would imagine so or maybe some back alley business. Someone could sell them as Back Alley Draws or B.A.D. Ok, I'm done on the draws. How weird, they probably only sell them in those "shops" with no windows!
So easy to build a pizza oven in the garden too, just need the spaceThere is one "meal" my wife and I make pretty regularly, we call it "the bean stuff." LOL. A fiend of mine made this for me one time, and told me he came up with it trying to find a meal from whatever he had, and it is a winner every time, if you like Mexican style food. You use black beans, strained, a can of Rotel, and at least one package of cream cheese. Put everything in a frying pan, and melt it all together, add whatever spices, chill powder, cumin, onion, garlic powder, etc. And we usually start with grilling some onions first, before adding everything else, and we usually include a can of green chill's, for a little extra flavor, and or jalapenos, then wrap everything in tortilla, toast in an oven for ten minutes or until desired "done-ness".
Another really good recipe I copied from a local restaurant, and mine is better every time, but this one's a little more complicated and expensive, but it goes a long way. For this one I found the best way is to make some kind of Mexican style dry rub first, I have an empty spice bottle I combined the spices I need for a "dry rub", basically the ingredients listed above, then pick up whatever steak you like, maybe something with not too much fat, avoid ribeye's, just too much fat, but the reason I use a dry rub, is because I like to grill the steak like I would normally, then I cut it up in bite sized or so pieces, add the dry rub, and stick it in a tortilla, with a generous helping of cream cheese, roll the tortilla up and cook that in an oven, and maybe make some Guac, or similar dip, salsa etc, and that's one of the BEST Mexican "burrito's or whatever you want to call it, but it's delicious! One of my favorites.
But nobody will ever beat good ole Italian style pizza! Life is not worth living without pizza! LOL!
