Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be made as white as snow.—Isa. 1:18.

Jehovah uses word pictures to help us appreciate how by means of the ransom sacrifice, he wipes out the sins of repentant ones. It is extremely difficult to remove scarlet or crimson stains from a cloth. Yet, by means of this word picture, Jehovah assures us that our sins can be washed clean so thoroughly that they are no longer visible. Sins are also likened to “debts.” (Matt. 6:12; Luke 11:4) So every time we sin against Jehovah, it is as if we are going further and further into debt. We owe him a huge amount! But when Jehovah forgives us, it is as if he cancels the debt that would otherwise be charged against our account. He does not demand repayment of sins that have been forgiven. What a refreshing illustration to describe the relief we feel when Jehovah forgives us! w25.02 9-10 ¶9-10
In the United States, organizations are recognized as people. (Just ask Gemini and it will explain everything.) Being Jehovah's organization, the dominant attitude and spirit is that there is peace between the organization and God. As you likely know, this very thing was foretold in the prophecy of Jeremiah. Peace is not merely the absence of conflict. Being at peace can mean there are no issues to address. Now notice the last sentence in the daily text. It says:
What a refreshing illustration to describe the relief we feel when Jehovah forgives us!
If I am reading it correctly, they are saying we have already been forgiven. Or more correctly, they are saying they have been forgiven. How is that possible? If you read the context in Isaiah, Jehovah speaks to his people and says, "Come, now, and let us set matters straight between us,” says Jehovah. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be made as white as snow..." Is anyone so unreasonable to assert that God set matters straight back in 1918, or anytime since then? No one alive now was alive then. When exactly did Jehovah set matters straight with his people?

And let us not overlook a very important point. God is speaking to the leaders of his people, whom He unflatteringly calls the "dictators of Sodom." It is the elders who are expected to plead the case of the fatherless boy and the widow. But verse 23 states that they have failed to fulfill the basic requirement of shepherds, saying: "Your princes are stubborn and partners with thieves. Every one of them loves a bribe and chases after gifts. They do not grant justice to the fatherless, and the legal case of the widow never reaches them."

I doubt if there were very many victims of child abuse in the organization back in the 1914 period. If God set matters straight back then, that would mean Jehovah is not at all concerned about addressing the thousands of cases of child sexual abuse that have been perpetrated in recent decades. And dare the Governing Body claim there is peace with God?

And this partnering with thieves; C.T. Russell's miracle wheat was nothing. The Watchtower has scammed thousands of Christians, defrauding them of places of worship they built and paid for, and is now using those stolen funds to play the markets with their own private hedge fund. And is there really peace with God?

When I first started to announce Jehovah's coming judgments, I imagined that God's indictment of the dictators of Sodom as "murderers" was hyperbolic. Now, though, I realize it is quite literal. As has been a topic of numerous articles, the Governing Body is guilty of murder by bestowing Jehovah's blessing on the vaccine that has killed millions of people worldwide, and no doubt more than a few of Jehovah's Witnesses. Speaking to the organization as if a woman, God says: "How the faithful city has become a prostitute! She was full of justice; righteousness used to lodge in her, but now murderers." - Isaiah 1:21

Christianity began in Jerusalem when the 120 were anointed. The apostles were headquartered in Jerusalem until the disgusting thing appeared. So, the "faithful city" was the anointed congregation. I believe the evidence strongly suggests that the anointing was renewed in the late 1800s, and because the congregation of the Firstborn is associated with the Watchtower, it has become the unfaithful city with murderers as lodgers.

Amazingly, Jehovah is willing to set matters straight and forgive in a very large way. However, there are conditions. "If you show willingness and listen, you will eat the good things of the land. But if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword, for the mouth of Jehovah has spoken it."

The "sword" of war is coming. The day of Jehovah is near.

Hmmm. No issue for me. Can you try using a different browser and see what happens? Or maybe try clearing your browser's cache.

Appreciated

Mick, I am now seeing no error, having forced a second browser cache dump. Would you try again, and to confirm: you are using Chrome? Desktop or phone?

Force browser refresh:
Usually the Control+F5 combination, but you might need to ask Google to be sure. This works for me in Firefox.

I'm seeing it on my desktop Chrome browser, too. But I use Firefox, and it is gone from there now. We'll keep an eye on it, so thank you for the heads-up about the glitch.

If we believe the part of the Isaiah 1:21 that talks about the “Faithful City” becoming murderers is being fulfilled, and I do believe it, then we must believe that someone in that group was at one time faithful, full of justice and righteousness too. That scripture describes a change in circumstances. It’s interesting to me that the “Faithful City” would naturally undergo changes as older ones die and new ones (less experienced and less tested) replace them. No doubt some anointed are frauds but I can see how Luke 12:48 would apply to the anointed ones today, who apparently don’t have the same “fire” that older ones appear to have had. They seem to be more dependent on group think.

From “The Message” bible translation, Luke 12:47-48: “The servant who knows what his master wants and ignores it, or insolently does whatever he pleases, will be thoroughly thrashed. But if he does a poor job through ignorance, he’ll get off with a slap on the hand. Great gifts mean great responsibilities; greater gifts, greater responsibilities!”

I was thinking along a similar line, because when Isreal was in the wilderness, we see many similar scenes of poor behaviour and apostasy yet Jehovah continued with them. With watchtower, Historically, I see “innocence” in that regard up until 1914. I don’t know the miracle wheat story in great depth but there must have been some need for money to support the growth. The grab for power on the death of Russell was significant to me but the change in direction appears traceable back to that time mainly in my opinion, because then was the first application made to “privileged” ones of the embryonic “channel”. Apostasy takes time to develop.

As individuals, I think Robert is correct that there is still a way back, but as a collective representation of Jehovah, I cannot see there being any reconciliation because the prophesy suggests otherwise. I find it difficult to reconcile the silence of the anointed within the watchtower. They must be there but clearly watchtower has not reached its zenith of opposition as yet - I wonder how much longer they can remain silent - as I do with the pimo’s too. There appears such a lack of substance in watchtower in these last 20 years or so and daily it becomes ever more infantile. It has become so watered down that all one must do to remain “faithful” in the eyes of the gb is to remain silent. But it may be because those with a conscience towards worship have already left and no one is aware of the day or the hour.

My collegue at work whos gay said their are men now who want to show they are very manly. I said they were definately manly they stopped the flood. I was wondering if their is a tribal under currant going on.

A true gentleman is known by his social etiquette; refined manners, respect for gentlewomen, well spoken, well dressed, reserved and of fine conversation. See Philip Stanhope, 4 Earl of chesterfield “Letters to his Son.” ‘A classic guide on manners and social conduct.’ 1790. (I think). “Beards should be neatly trimmed by a competent manservant.” Beards were not a mark of manliness, but of academic or positional competence - mostly amongst the more mature men of the time. It varied through the ages right through to 1945 depending upon the fashion taste of the monarch, believe it or not - even in Queen Victoria’s reign, based upon Prince Albert of course. Essentially, the rush to grow a beard by the gb is based upon the same premise of what is permissible. ‘Permissible’ being the key word rather than ‘fashionable’ as it is today amongst “commoners”, I.e, choice of one’s own, rather than social acceptance.
