What if it is the leadership of the congregation that is practicing sin? How does one go about reproving them before all onlookers and expose the duplicity and hypocrisy of those who claim to speak for God? One way has been to publish open letters, sent by the thousands, to elders in the English-speaking world.Reprove before all onlookers those who practice sin.—1 Tim. 5:20.
The apostle Paul wrote the words of today’s text to his fellow elder Timothy in connection with how to handle “those who practice sin.” What did he mean? He did not necessarily mean that the whole congregation were the “onlookers.” Rather, he was referring to those few who might already know of the sins. They could be eyewitnesses, or they could be those whom the wrongdoer confided in. The elders would discreetly make them aware that the matter was handled and that the sinner was corrected. In some instances, the wrongdoing may have become widely known in the congregation or is likely to become known. In such a case, the “onlookers” would include the entire congregation. So an elder would announce to the congregation that the brother or the sister has been reproved. Why? Paul answers: “As a warning to the rest” not to fall into sin. w24.08 23-24 ¶16-17
Jehovah has also set a precedent. In the 3rd chapter of Amos, God commands his prophet to broadcast to the surrounding nations the many sins and revolts of his people, Israel: "Proclaim it on the fortified towers of Ashdod and on the fortified towers in the land of Egypt. Say: “Gather together against the mountains of Samaria; see the turmoil in her midst and the defrauding within her." - Amos 3:9
Obviously, Amos did not travel to Egypt or Ashdod in Philistia to notify them of Israel's revolt against Jehovah. It is symbolic. But in the same spirit, a brother in Slovakia recently posted dozens of billboards across the country to call attention to the organization's hypocrisy - posting the web address of the Slovakian version of e-watchman. The mere presence of my numerous websites also serves as a public notice. The latest edition of Jehovah Has Become King is also being distributed to dozens of the Watchtower's branch offices worldwide.
As an example of defrauding practiced by the leadership of the Watchtower, in recent years, the organization has seized control of approximately 1,000 Kingdom Halls. That represents roughly 100,000 congregants who were unceremoniously evicted, dispossessed with no compensation for the houses of worship that they built and paid for. Following the example of Amos, I have made public the Watchtower's fraud.
Most egregious, the Governing Body is blood guilty for having accepted money to promote the deadly Covid vaccines. While we cannot expect the haughty dictators of Sodom to accept my reproof, it should be understood that my making public the many sins of the Watchtower is only a necessary prelude to Jehovah's rebuke.
"For the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will not do a thing
Unless he has revealed his confidential matter to his servants the prophets.
The lion has roared! Who will not be afraid?
The Sovereign Lord Jehovah has spoken! Who will not prophesy?"
Amos 3:7-8
