I was fumbling through some news articles, and found that Ashville, NC is a place where Republicans and Demoncrats have been fighting for years against each other. He called it a microcosm of the United States. It seems very interesting how that storm tracked, and the 9 inches of rain they got before the big one came into play. It seems like there might be another divine hand sending a message. What do you think?

She overheard FEMA Say "However many Deaths you’re hearing, add two zeros on the end". Last I heard, the number was 250. Do the math and it comes out to 25,000....so far....

Where are JWs? Any social media chatter? There have to be hundreds of JWs in the disaster areas. The WT has billions to play the markets. If the US government is intent on killing everyone off, where is the Watchtower? :unsure:

Last night, I asked an active sister (wife of an Elder) if they have heard anything about North Caroline and the hurricance disaster and as of last night she had not heard anything from the Org.

  • Circuit overseers and local elders are providing spiritual and practical assistance to those affected by the hurricane
  • 2 Disaster Relief Committees have been appointed to coordinate relief efforts
Guessing this report is a very incomplete picture of the devastation.

Thanks. I checked their "news" page yesterday and didn't see anything. They must have posted it a little later.

The more military bases you get stationed at the more tech you're exposed to. When I was at Ft. Lewis they used to run a test bed up at the Yakima Firing Range for all sorts of things from motocross motorcycles and 4 wheel ATV to Amphib vehicles that used pumps to eject any water they take on. They could go anywhere they like if they just would. We forged rivers in Germany back in the 40s. We have Airborne, Rangers and Special Forces who can be air dropped anywhere. Air cavalry units since Vietnam who can literally go anywhere.
I guess if we aren't murdering people from foreign lands the government isn't interested.

What do you suppose "practical assistance" is? What are they going to do for people who live in hills that they don't already know how to?
