I don’t think I could stand to be at the meetings anymore. There are so many lies they tell not to mention the praise that the GB bring themselves, especially in the WT studies. I’d be afraid I wouldn’t be able to hold my tongue or always having to leave the meeting way before it was over…through disgust.
To me that would be endurance of another kind. 😖

Totally agree with you. For me, I’d be df’d in perpetuity cuz I wouldn’t be able to keep my mouth shut about the lies and hypocrisy.

In a sense, as jay said, we are gathered together here on this forum with one another. Aren’t we “inciting others to love and fine works?” As well as “encouraging one another.” We convey our thoughts that help and upbuild one another.

Although if some feel the need to be at in person meetings ( and believe me I do miss them) that’s fine. But I know meetings are just not the same anymore. Therefore, I wouldn’t be encouraged or built up…especially as I am here on the forum with you dear brothers and sisters.

Not only would it be difficult to keep a "muffler on your mouth" but we don't feel we are being fed solid food anymore.

Our time is better spent listening/reading information available on e-watchman & fellowshipping on the forum.
Sometimes we still have a twinge of guilt (emphasis on sometimes) but, bottom line, it's better to be spiritually refreshed not spiritually discouraged.

BTW, welcome. I'm gonna comment on a couple things you've said, but one at a time to maintain cohesion. I have posted on here many times, the only thing missing from the GB updates, was "Brought to you by Pfizer." At least the MSM liars were at least honest enough to disclose their sponsors, and the real reason they were pushing the vaccines, so either WT was getting paid and the MSM has more integrity than they do, or they did it for free. I'll leave to to figure out which is worse! LOL...so much of what you said in the opener is exactly what I have felt and said myself over and over.

I was thinking about this the other day, I was OK when they were "directing" us, it's when they started giving orders things changed and that's when they really elevated themselves to "masters" and that is where the idolatry begins. Every "song of praise" given to (these corrupt agents of Satan) men, is an act of worship and therefore idolatry. So much of what they do is to elevate themselves to the "seat of Moses" so they can sit on "the Throne of God." "God's Organization" is a synonym for the GB. But I'll make it really, really simple. Just Disfellowshipping someone because they do not agree with you, is elevating yourself to God's throne. That's all you need to know! That is the most basic over simplification, but it illustrates the heart of the problem.

The problem with conspiracies is, when they come true they're no longer conspiracies..

The 2 biggest problems with studying conspiracy theories is that once you prove one is true, all the rest become possible no matter how impossible, which is why the beast plants false CTs to discredit ones that are true. The other problem is you lose trust in institutions you once looked up to. My dad used to say ignorance is bliss. Sometimes I wish I hadn't gone down that 1st rabbit hole and was blissfully asleep right now, but then I realize how difficult it's going to be for everyone who's still sleeping.

My journey here began with Covid

We had a "shepherding call" at the beginning of Covid right after they suspended meetings, but around the time they began pushing the mask. I use PPE in the work I do, and I knew more about respirators an masks then certainly every single person in my hall, and for a fact anyone who wore a mask. I told the two brothers that what WT was doing didn't make any sense to me, and the one brother came with their pat answer about how many people were dying. Which as I have said many times, that number was completely meaningless without a qualifier, like how many brothers has died the years prior to Covid. But no, like everything else we were supposed to believe them because they said so.

It makes me disgusted every time I think about this, when he points to the sky and says this, and I keep saying "how exactly is God communicating with them, when they themselves admit they are neither inspired or infallible? Well, the answer is he's not.

So when the GB mentioned conspiracy theories... and it was either them or a talk that also talked bad about critical thinking.

My wife and I also noticed how they constantly quote some leftists lunatic, and UN members over and over again.
One of the things I have noticed the last 2 and half years or so, is how much WT has actually been deceiving us. A couple things of note, they always misquote Peter when Jesus asked if he was going to leave. This wasn't my observation it was someone else on here, but I forget who, but they pointed out that Peter says, "WHO, are we going to go away to." NOT, wait for it, "WHERE"!!!! The other thing they do, is never read or quote the part immediately after describing the "faithful slave", they always ignore the part about the evil slave. I wonder why? Is it perhaps because it says "if ever that evil slaves says in his heart,'my master is delaying'"....hmm...maybe that's the real reason we got the "over lapping generation?"


I remember as a kid placing out in field service back in the late 80's (can't remember if it was an Awake or WT), but the one with the cover of maybe a dozen old brothers and sisters and how they could not die before the end. Well not only are they all dead, the last one's been dead for 30 plus years!

I do agree with you on false conspiracies 100%... But i have been taking red pills since 9/11... And I definitely... at this point have no faith in Institutions but they have proven to me that you have to do thorough research on anything you believe...which is one of the main reasons I would ever question anything coming from JW ORG. And i don't believe every one of them for the exact reason you stated....But do believe anything is possible in a system that I still believe is controlled by Satan...

I'm a first responder...and at first with Covid.... I was cautious like most people, because of the unknown dangers and my wife has a weak immune system...and I work in a field running on people "with covid"... so I took precautions... which I believe was wise to be cautious at first. But as I learned more and did not seeing people dropping dead even when they got it...and when researching more on masks and seeing how they didn't make a difference... I then started to go about my life even though everyone was still crazy about it... And I would only where a mask not to cause problems when in certain areas. When they were pushing masks I looked at all the research and knew they did nothing...Dr. Fauci even said that himself...so I knew they were pointless. Also said the same thing about those dying...How many die in a regular year....was it the same or substantially higher? Did they have multiple underlying health conditions? Without all the numbers....the number of deaths mean nothing...

When you said that.... all I thought about was the hundreds of times I've heard friends when talking about a watchtower is "Jehovah is trying to tell us ______" How is he telling this to us? If they are neither inspired or prophets.

I've noticed this as well....How can it never be mentioned??....not at all.. And of course...why would they cast any kind of doubt on themselves.

Jehovah would not ‘try‘ to tell us anything. He either tells us - and we know it - or does not tell us and lo! we do Not know it. I can happily say “I know nothing”. What I have is all faith, and like the tides of the sea, it ebbs and flows, for I am but a man. “Miserable man that I am…for what I do I should not do….”

It might be advantageous not to have those “twinges“ of guilt. I have never had them myself, because everything I have read on this site has had the ring of truth to it. Certainly there come and go those that would teach us their own version, but as for the core discussion, there has never been any doubt in my mind. The bible speaks for itself. It needs no mouthpiece, other than to set it down for all to reason upon. As Jesus said “they will know my voice”, and that has always been the primary facet of truth here. You are so fortunate that your scriptural reasoning has saved you from anger and the subsequent distraction that brings that cause many to lose faith altogether, and have the heart that seeks first the kingdom, where it may be found.

The recent annual venting of the priests in watchtower was a lesson to us all. They are so polished in their presentation, they must have been tutored by professionals in sales - even down to he manner in which they invoke applause and even pause for it to be give them. How refreshing it would have been to have a speaker turn up in one of those head to toe robes they used to wear in the time of Christ, their feet covered in dust, their beards liked a beech tree and windswept, and for them just to speak truth. But in its stead, we have conceit, twisted roads, full of excuses, side-steps, u-turns and slip-roads. No need for twinges of guilt, rather, let there be shouts of joy that we are made awake in these times.

Agreed... We at one point I thought was Solid Food... But we have reverted back to milk... The only time available for any kind of research you're able to provide is during the spirtual gems...where you're able to provide what you appreciated in the bible reading that week. But even then...they want you to keep your comment to 30 seconds or less...How much can you really mention in 30 seconds. The WT you have to stick to what's covered in the paragraph...its frowned upon to venture to far off the paragraphs comments...and the book study is very... very basic 'doctrines of the ORG". There's no deep dives into biblical prophecies and world events unfolding that we should be looking at ... Not to figure out the "date and hour"... But we would know the season and to be on the watch for those events. We're told to read our bible....But there really is not that much time if your ...preparing for the meetings...the watchtower...the presentations. And then if you have more responsibilities you have even less time to do "the more important things"...Getting into God's Word...

I agree with you …and it’s fine for me…and you. But it’s so difficult for children…if they’re not around an environment of children who are being taught to love God…they will become a product of their environment of kids they’re around at school and dance or whatever other extra curricular activities they’re in…then they may never get a chance to be where you or I are at right now…but it definitely is a problem when the ORG is pushing certain things I don’t want them to latch onto either …obeying men(GB),shunning, obeying the ORG without question…and all these things do bother me and it’s a fine balance and one I’m trying to sift through and be patient with…
