Hour of Test

I want to elaborate what I mean regarding the vaccine and integrity. I thought of a way to clarify it a little better. In the case of my brother who was NOT going to take the vaccine, but did anyway, while simultaneously telling me "if I die I'll be resurrected."

Let's imagine Jesus appeared to my brother and said, (maybe when he does have to resurrect him...) "you were convinced that vaccine was not safe or effective, so why did you take it?" His answer is the equivalent of saying, "well the GB told me too." It's not even the equivalent, it's exactly the same thing.

On the other hand let's say he was convinced the "vaccine was safe and effective" and he had not been coerced by the GB his answer would be completely different something like, "I really believed it was going to help." But he did NOT believe that. My brother did not have the conviction to stand by what he really believes! And that is my point. It's not necessarily about the vaccine per se, it is a in your face verification that the GB are indeed "masters of their faith."

I keep thinking of things I want to add for clarification...it's getting kind of obnoxious...LOL. In my brothers defense and all the rest of the R&F I know that explanation to Jesus would include, "because I thought they were speaking for you." And that is a valid reason...I guess! But as I have said many times, we stand individually before Christ as our judge. It's the GB who are in some deep trouble. This is what makes them blood guilty. They claim to represent Christ and the brothers believe them.

But Jesus said to keep on the watch.. what exactly are we supposed to keep looking out for if we just keep doing what the GB tells us to do, no need to keep a look out. I'd be interested to hear what your brother thinks about that!

@BARNABY THE DOG. I was just thinking too Barn...you replied to another comment of mine, (not sure where it is), about Jesus disciples would know his voice. And I was just thinking about how when Winder said "we don't owe an apology, that's how Jehovah does things." That comment always reminded me of when Satan said to Eve, Genesis 3:1 “Did God really say that you must not eat from every tree of the garden?” I have not really been able to say exactly why until now. I recognize Satan's voice in that statement. It has a similar tone. Very similar. Placing blame on Jehovah instead of taking blame where it belongs. When you know the "masters voice" You also know when it is not him. Which is really the ultimate irony, because it's the very reason WT has claimed you do not have to "study" what "apostates" are saying, you do not have to study "counterfeit money" you study the 'real thing" so then you recognize the counterfeit because you have studied the real thing! (I am aware they use that about false religion too.)

It is also ironic there is still some truth coming out of WT, if you know where to look!!! LOL
Im not sure any truth comes out of the mouth of watchtower 🤣🤣. Certainly, just as you say, one must be able to recognise the truth when they hear it and that requires the right heart motivation to put Jehovah first. Watchtower make it very difficult to see Jehovah in the light that belongs to Him - and that light is represented in His Attributes. This is what winder et alia have taken from Him by taking on the mantel of His mouthpiece, diminishing truth to whether it’s okay to have a beard and admitting that they can “be wrong” whilst claiming that their word is that of Jehovah. A contradiction of intent if ever there was one.

Though I do not discount prophesy as important, I realise that in itself, it does not save lives unless one first understands these attributes of Jehovah and can account for them in their daily life - to live life through them. That’s what makes us “witnesses”. We do not witness prophesy, - it has not arrived yet, but Jehovah. Howsoever the end comes to us, we must survive the test. We won’t do that without understanding the content of the test. Just as when Jesus was tempted by satan with the loaf of bread, he replied “……..but by every utterance from the mouth of Jehovah.” Watchtower seem to have forgotten that and changed it to their mouth.
