How can anyone believe the Quran?

Stretched thin between 📚 at the moment but the time has come to add a pdf of the Gulag Archipelago won't be long before the useful idiots are forced to face harsh reality. I'd imagine it would be hard for anyone to count so much as one hand worth of human ideas as historically destructive and in such short order as communism. Until I read the descriptions of countless gnostic sects in Against Heresies communism was only surpassed by outright luciferianism in my mind as the epitome of mental illness and vice. communism is pure nihlistic entropy and cancer.
When I read some of the gnostic stuff, it was so obviously dark and directly inspired by Satan, that I quickly dropped the research after getting an overview. 😖

Yes it's very perverted and wearisome I remember when I listened to the first 2/5 of Iraneus book describing there systems and mythologies I could only listen for a half hour a day because i could only tolerate hearing about so much of there mental illness at a time. The early apostates were barely a step removed from satanists. 🤮

Is there any particular differences between Sunni's, Shia's and Sikhs generally that are relevant in the ministry?
Short answer is the person simply must have already decided he wants to study the Bible. Jehovah must have already drawn them.

The Sunni/Shia divide is based on a disagreement as to Mohammed's successor. There is oral history repeated over and over that builds hate for the other group. The oral histories are filled with gory stories designed to build moral outrage against the other group.

One time, I was on a call on a Shia man. His neighbors in the duplex that shared his driveway, were Sunni. This Shia man related to me the long gory bloody history, while occasionally with some fear, looking out the window to be sure his neighbors could not hear what he was relating to me.

Both Sunni and Shia Islam is religion created directly by Satan. They insist they know "all about" Noah, Moses, Abraham, etc., but EVERYTHING is a direct inversion. Everything is Satanically twisted. There is no reasoning with it, as they learn by rote. From childhood. Learning their beliefs, with the thought of reasoning with them, is a dead end. (And will result in a headache.)🤒

My daughter-in-law is a Muslim and just like Christendom, the religion is a title they attach to themselves with no commitment to any real principles.

I was looking into Islam and apparently some subsets of Islam equate Gabriel (of course as we all know the devil or one of his minions impersonated Gabriel in interactions with Mohammad) with the holy spirit this appears to have been a gnostic influence like how the Quran incorporates stuff from both the gospel of Thomas and the Infancy gospel of Thomas in what's presumably the third version of the ascension of Isaiah which has gnostic additions and probably a few edits elsewhere the holy spirit is alleged throughout to be some kind of angel and it's implied several times it's Gabriel. Pretty stupid and nonsensical point of view but what can anyone expect out of the original apostate cults and of Islam's origins.

So I'm having some fun with Muslims on youtube..
I tell then I don't believe in the trinity, ask me any questions you wish.. A lot of them think all "Christians" believe in the trinity, so I surprise them..
Most of them ask why Jesus is the "only begotten" son of God, when there are other sons of God. I tell them of Jesus' preexistence, and was the first creation of God...All things are from the father, but through Christ...none of them really object to it, which I found interesting,,
A lot of them think Paul was evil, and changed the commandments of God, such as not eating pork etc, and that Muslims are observing the commandments of Moses, and so did Jesus, but I tell them there are 613 total commandments in the Mosaic Law. Muslims eat camel meat, dont observe the Sabbath etc. So they aren't really observing the vast majority of the commandments at all... I tell them that the Temple in Jerusalem is destroyed, so its impossible anyway and your not still doing animal sacrifices still are you? They dont really have a response
Nearly all of them say the Bible is corrupt, and so I tell them which teaching exactly of Jesus is corrupt? If you press them nearly all will agree that Jesus was more moral than Muhammad and there are no corrupt teachings. They just say that the different Gospel writers had discrepancies in the accounts..and the Quran is needed to "correct" the Bible. They say that the "crucifixion" never happened, and that God would never allow this to happen. I point them to Isaiah 53 etc. I ask them what "new" teaching did Muhammad bring? Nearly all of them agree that Muhammad brought no new teaching, and agree that Islam is similar to Judaism. But I ask them if Islam is very similar to Judaism, which they nearly all agree, them what exactly was the purpose of Christ. Why did all of the prophets of God in the Bible point to the life, death, resurrection of Christ? One of them said that all of the prophetic books are corrupt, and only the Quran is not corrupt. The go to answer when in trouble is "the Bible is corrupt". But I tell them that all of the teachings of God are in the Bible since you've agreed that the Quran has NO original spiritual material, so you should at least give the Bible a read with an open mind since it is the original.

I am recently researching the early history of Islam, and how this religion arose. I am Arab by ethnicity, so I find these things somewhat interesting, even though the Quran is the most boring book ever. I found out that from the years 610 [when Islam started], until 628, Muhammad allowed what is called nikah al Mutah, or "temporary pleasure marriage". When the Islamic armies were invading surounding regions, the early 'disciples" of the "prophet" complained they were missing their wives and needed sex. So what the founder did was say you can "marry" random women for a few days or weeks, and make it in an agreement that you will sepearate after this time. They had to give prospective women some sort of payment. Their wives back at home obviousy didn't know about this, since they were on campaign. In other words, the "prophet" gave religious sanction to prostitution and cheating on your wife, but simply called it another name to give it justification. Many major Sunni leaders have admitted openly this is prostitution. In Shia Iran, it is still practiced by the lower classes. The middle and upper classes look down upon this as prostitution. This goes against the claim that Muhammad was sinless like Jesus. In fact, it is worse than prostitution, since you are claiming that God allows such an abominable practice. I have mentioned this in youtube comments, but the comments are quickly deleted, even though virtually all of their scholars admit it is true. I woudn't mention this though to Muslims though if you are going door to door, unless you have a death wish.

When the Ottoman empire was a major force, they would invade Christian lands and capture boys and take them back home. There they would train them for military use and send them back to kill their own people. They were called jannisaries.

I served in an Arabic group for about 4 years. I found that studying the Quran to help them spiritually is a fool's errand. It is interesting that in the 1950's the Watchtower ran a series of in-depth articles using quotations from the Quran to "reason" with believers. It was quite an undertaking and well done. But they came to realize this was not the way to win hearts. There is zero reasoning with these people leading to a conversion to truth. The indoctrination is too strong. I can illustrate this with a couple experiences.

We had an Arabic JW and his family visit our group for a week to aid us in the ministry. I asked the brother how he reasons with the Muslims on the common objection that "God has no son." He replied that he does not bother with reasoning with them on any of the Islamic beliefs. There is no point. They are too indoctrinated. He said that the hour is too late. They must already be ready to study the Bible. Period.

I found this to be true. Jehovah has to have already moved them to desire to leave Islam and become a Christian. One man studied the Bible on the website, and had quit smoking, and then one day showed up at the Kingdom Hall when he saw from the website there were Arabic meetings. Another girl had decided to become a Christian, and her Uncle was hunting her to do an "honor killing" at the time she found a sister in our group, to study the Bible with.
I saw videos where muslims who converted to Christianity explained they changed their view because they saw Jesus in a dream and the likes.

The violence in the Quran fits the mindset of Ishmael's descendants.
He was a "zebra of a man", and his descendants inherited that trait. (Ge 16:12)

Here is an old Arab proverb that belies their mindset:

"I against my brother. I and my brother against my cousin. I, my brother, and my cousin against the world."

They love the Quran because it directs them to do what they naturally want to do.

Much the same as the bible in that people use all sorts of ploys and meanings to justify their actions. The watchtower are dab hands at it. Having said that, the bible comes to life when those who read it, do so as seekers of meaning to an innate desire to know the Creator and from a need to explain a world that in every way seems contrary to what it should be. When people look for the Creator, they generally find Him. It appears that those who seek insight into the Creator are willing to adjust themselves to bring their life into harmony with His demands. That requires a long term sacrifice to humility and a divesting of things worldly from one’s life. A key marker as to which road one is on.
