Is money the root of all evil?

502019187_univ_lsr_lg.jpgThere is a brief article on jw dot org with the above title. No doubt the writers at Bethel are pleased with themselves to be able to explain how the scripture has been misquoted; how in reality, it is the love of money that is the root of all evil. And, of course, that is true. Money is just a medium of exchange. It is the lust for more and more money that is at the root of so many evil things. The leaders of the Watchtower should know this better than most.

The founder of the Watchtower was a millionaire back when a million dollars was a lot of money. To his credit, C.T. Russell refused to solicit money. Besides the ill-conceived miracle wheat scheme, Russell used his own fortune to finance the work. He once said that if for whatever reason funds were not made available then he would consider that as a sign that the Watchtower did not have God's support and he would cease operations. Fast forward 100 years. The Watchtower is a multimillion-dollar publishing and construction corporation that has hatched all kinds of money-generating schemes. Foremost, the Watchtower uses free labor including skilled craftsmen and grunt workers to construct thousands of Kingdom Halls, branches, and headquarters facilities, some of which it flips on the real estate market. Pure profit!

Shockingly, after the vaccines were rolled out in the 2nd year of the so-called pandemic, inexplicably the Governing Body claimed that the injections were a special gift from Jehovah. There is no direct evidence (yet) that the Watchtower received money to promote the experimental vaccines, but anecdotal evidence suggests that they did. There were billions and billions of dollars sprayed around to reward institutions that pushed the vaccines. Religious organizations were expected to promote The WHO's global initiative. Given the fact that the GB promoted it with such vigor, threatening elders with judicial tribunals if they dared voice any reservation about the Watchtower's glowing endorsement of the injections, and given their other money-grubbing schemes, there is little reason to doubt that the Watchtower sold Jehovah's sheep on a per-head basis.

Now consider James 5:1-7, which was written to anointed Christian elders living prior to the parousia: "Come, now, you rich men, weep and wail over the miseries that are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted, and your clothing has become moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have rusted away, and their rust will be a witness against you and will consume your flesh. What you have stored up will be like a fire in the last days. Look! The wages you have withheld from the workers who harvested your fields keep crying out, and the cries for help of the reapers have reached the ears of Jehovah of armies. You have lived in luxury and for self-gratification on the earth. You have fattened your hearts on the day of slaughter. You have condemned; you have murdered the righteous one. Is he not opposing you? Be patient then, brothers, until the presence of the Lord. Look! The farmer keeps waiting for the precious fruit of the earth, exercising patience over it until the early rain and the late rain arrive. You too exercise patience; make your hearts firm, because the presence of the Lord has drawn close."

Does not the Governing body live in luxury? Have they not defrauded those many Christian brothers who slaved to build beautiful houses of worship dedicated to God only to have them confiscated? Has the Governing Body not murdered untold numbers of trusting Christians who took the jabs because the faithful and discreet slave assured them it was a gift from Jehovah and as a consequence are no longer in the land of the living? And now, safe with their millions of dollars behind the granite walls of their Warwick palace, the real presence of Christ has drawn close. The global war the prophets of Bethel have assured the flock cannot happen in the future is about to begin. Truly, they have fattened their hearts on the day of slaughter.

Well you certainly have helped fill our lamps up with oil; if we are blessed to be hauled up before governors and kings we have ample resources for the spirit to draw upon!

"C.T Russell once said that if for whatever reason funds were not made available then he would consider that as a sign that the Watchtower did not have God's support and he would cease operations" ...

This should make a person think, I mean really think.. look at all the books that have been deliberately buried, or thrown in the dumpster that were once considered "The Holy Word of God" that came down from on high! Or the Wt.. Whatever, the WT didn't teach these so called truths, it was out of the bag two thousand yrs years ago, Ethiopia has the oldest manuscripts of the Bible in the world and they know these truths....like living on paradise earth forever which is not a new concept nor is the knowledge of hell and what it really means..even the trinity was rejected by them as pure lies. Don't let the WT fool ya, they didn't come up with any of these revelation doctrines .What they did was capitalize on pre-existing truths then packaged it in there own manufacturing buildings with free labor.. It's called "A Brand" with book after book, a bit of "new light" so-called and released every year or two for a cost, and readily sold through donations at events called assemblies, to none other than its own pew sitters...Us! Nifty huh? Of course that's what a Brand does, like Nike, Samsung or Apple..it gives its followers a New Version every year or so because the old version is obsolete.. The WT by all rights if people would ever wake up be a defunct business... But with a clever writing staff, and mass mind control and a little bit of fear, that Armageddon is gonna happen next Friday, they keep people in thier seats and continue to squeeze blood money from the turnips that keep coming back for the sugar fix, The WT mixes sugar and strychknine ..ya know, "paradise on earth" which they promise to lead you to, which they will never be able to deliver..But like all good salesman they'll say whatever they have to, to get the deal done..Same tactic with the so-called life saving instructions..it's a sales pitch people, and they've been at it for over a100 years... Even with all the belly flops and outright lies people keep coming back like diehard Chevy or Ford buyers..it's call FOMO.. it's what drug dealers do to addicts, they string them along taking every dollar until they're either dead or wake up one day... Im sorry, but the truth is, the WT didn't give me or anyone else that the Almighty didn't reveal through his word if one carefully searches for the truth..The WT thinks it owns the rights to bottle what has been given to us freely.. that isn't true,, because the holy spirit is so powerful it doesn't need any help from a group or religion to find those exceptable to Jehovah.. Want proof? Humans in general have the qualities bestowed upon up by our creator, does not God's word say...The man that does the will of God is someone exceptable to him? That means he knows who we are. Here's another, the angels will be dispatched to go out into all the earth and gather the chosen ones from the four corners of the earth... Humm. Doesn't sound like the WT shuttle bus will be making those rounds.. I'm not saying the WT hasn't been used for a teaching purpose it obviously has. Unfortunately, the truth if SERIOUSLY looked into can be summed up in a few scriptures..And once you have a grasp of it, you're told to make the truth your own, how? by taking in knowledge of the Bible that leads to ever lasting life, that's when one will be identified as ones of those persons, one becomes what is called, the group known as a people for God's name"... And that my friends is what sets a person free from the enslavement Adam passed on to his offspring...So, the reckoning facing the WT is just part of the reckoning each and everyone of us will face..a simple matter of clearing away everyone and everything that will not be part of God's kingdom or plan..Does that mean you need the watchtower to be saved..No! Not in the slightest. The WT is a trap ran by masons and corrupt money men that will sell you down the river into the salt mines.. Don't believe me? Then really take a deep dive into your belief system and see for yourselves

This is what Russell said:
... I was talking to a reporter sometime afterwards, and he was asking about the work, how supported, etc., and I explained to him that it was by voluntary donations; that I had been in this work forty years, yet we never had taken up a collection at any time, and whatever money the Lord provided was used to the best of our ability and judgment and as wisely as we knew how, the Lord being asked for wisdom to use the money of His own providing to His own praise, and that it keeps coming gradually, and that we never solicit it from the people nor ask God for it. Now that would seem very strange to some that we would not pray for money and tell the Lord how much or how little was in the treasury. But my dear friends, we have a God that knows all about the treasury, and what is the use of telling Him. He knows the account better than I do. I am not going to tell God how much He ought to put into the work. Let Him attend to that part. Whatever comes into our care is our stewardship and supervision. There our responsibility begins. Use it wisely and well and so it will gratify the Lord.

I said to the reporter: That is the rule we follow, and when God ceases to provide the money the work would decline in that proportion, for we would not ask, but would use whatever He sends. <What Pastor Russell Said, P. 350>
