JW.org is running a homepage article posing the questions:
Is World War Inevitable?—What Does the Bible Say? Does the Bible say anything about the international instability that we are seeing today? Will it lead to world war?
The writers at Bethel have become experts at obfuscation. In their own inimitable, mealy-mouthed way, those who claim to be the Jeremiah class of prophets say events will not lead to world war without actually saying it outright. Here is what they say:
The Bible did not foretell any specific war that we are seeing today. However, it did foretell the rampant warfare that is marking our time and is taking “peace away from the earth.”
The Governing Body, or whoever writes this stuff, is claiming that whatever wars are going on here and there in different parts of the world are just part of the same war that began in 1914. Even though there has never been a shot fired or a bomb dropped in warfare in America, the WT claims that peace was taken from the earth in 1914 and there has never been any peace since then.

Readers should know that the Watchtower is trying to nullify my message. From the beginning of my presence on the Internet, I have pointed to a future world war, WW3 if you want to call it that. And yes, it will quickly devolve into nuclear war, requiring divine intervention to save mankind from extinction.

It is not that I have some crystal ball or am some intelligence expert. I know there will be a world war because I believe Jesus, and I know that WW1 did not fulfill Christ's prophecy.

Some analysts say World War Three has already begun. It is understandable why they say that. Just last week, Russia warned the British that if they supply Ukraine with more Storm Shadow cruise missiles to strike deeper into Russia, Putin will target London. The British are desperate to try to save their globalist dark money racketeering operation, which Trump is dismantling piece by piece. Iran is a big part of the empire's scheme to control the flow of oil and hot money.

World War Three will be the end of the Watchtower. Any credibility they have will be shattered to bits, illustrated in prophecy as a towering wall that falls in an instant.

People in London have stated that if Trump stays in office his full term, the empire's rules-based order will never recover. The deep state is hoping to flip the midterm elections in two months so they can get a majority in Congress to impeach Trump again. We shall see.

While I'm at it, the article goes on to say:
The Bible indicates that the world situation will get worse before it gets better. Jesus foretold that “there [would] be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning.” (Matthew 24:21) That “great tribulation” will culminate in a war called Armageddon, which is described as “the war of the great day of God the Almighty.”—
The Bible does not say that the great tribulation will culminate in the war of Armageddon. On the contrary, Jesus said that God would cut short the tribulation on account of the chosen ones; otherwise, no flesh would survive. Cutting short the tribulation will allow for the beast to arise from the abyss and begin the hour of test, which will coincide with the one hour of the rule of the last king, the eighth king. And if you wish to know how long the symbolic one hour is, it is 1,260 days, 42 months, or time, times, and half a time. The WT has interpreted these prophetic time periods into meaninglessness.

From the “Christian Standard Bible”, 1 Corinthians 3:12-14: “If anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw, each one’s work will become obvious. For the day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire; the fire will test the quality of each one’s work. If anyone’s work that he has built survives, he will receive a reward.”

Notice that it says some of the material used in building on the foundation is “costly”. Other translations say precious. These are materials that come at a cost to us, but just like anything expensive, we don’t like having to pay for it, but we realize that in the long run it will be worth it. Perhaps that could allude to the sacrifices made to do things Jehovah’s way, even when it costs us something.

Here is a snippet of the commentary on the Enduring Word website:

The organization can say the likelihood of WW3 would be out of the question, but usually things have to be hopeless where you're on your knees at wits end praying before God makes his "Pro gamer move".

Firstly welcome back brother, I hope your hiatus recharged the batteries.

The GB has the uncanny ability to change wine into water. The reality of World War I is it wasn't a world war, it was the Great War which was mainly fought in a small part of Europe (yes some minor parts of the war where fought outside of Europe but nothing of consequence) World War II dwarfed the Great War which is an inconvenient truth when it comes to shoehorning specific dates into so called Bible prophecy. The GB or whoever approves this nonsensical dribble condemn themselves:

"The Bible did not foretell any specific war that we are seeing today. However, it did foretell the rampant warfare that is marking our time and is taking “peace away from the earth.”

Classic gaslighting - "seeing today". They are trying to separate what we are seeing today from their golden calf date of 1914 by implying "today" the present time we live in is disassociated from what happened over 100, yes 100 years ago in 1914.
