Let's be honest, no organization is perfect and to expect perfection in this world is not realistic. Many well studied mature Christians have access to Gods channel through prayer, it's not only exclusive to the GB. Secondly, they spend much of their day in studying the Bible and they encourage others to not be concerned about geopolitics. As a result, they have tunnel vision, even more so when they're social bubble is limited. You can't have a full 360 view of the world and the current system of things if you have a very casual or non studied view of geopolitical matters.
I remember when I personally was ignorant about geopolitics. I didn't agree with borders and I believed in climate change. But as I became more aware of corruption in media and government and what I was taught in school was secularized propaganda. I began to do vast amounts of research myself. Like follow where the money flows. Many JW's including the GB don't have the time to do this with their strict schedules. Keep in mind, I love them all but I feel like I need to warn them that promises of safety will eventually get the preaching work all banned. Nationalism is an old view, we live in a new world and what we are seeing now is the rise of the Tower of Babel but in the modern day. After much study I realized that Jehovah was for encouraging nation states and a decentralization of power. Jehovah was not for humanity to be ruled by a centralized human government authority which the Tower of Babel was all about. The Tower of Babel represented globalism as the centralized authority and ultimately the notorious Babylon the great the antichrist spirit. With Nimrod being the figurehead of the Antichrist. Jehovah understood that the Tower of Babel would corrupt humanity rapidly and threaten the lineage of Jesus Christ under a centralized global government so it was for those reasons that Jehovah confused their tongues and made them spread out to create a multitude of nations throughout the earth. So the mark of the beast isn't about nationalism especially in the modern day. The mark of the beast is that of a globalist power that wants to destroy borders and nation states to become the centralized authoritarian rule. And while there are very corrupt nations, some nations are better than others for Christians to thrive and live, though that's becoming more of a rarity now. The watchtower needs to point out the globalists powers and the institutions and big corporate businesses have more power than nationalism. In American schools for example, you're not going to be persecuted and put in jail for refusing to say the pledge of allegiance. Nationalism has died down significantly through culture that Hollywood and globalists WEF aggressively push on the newer generations, especially my millennial generation and also gen Z. If the mark of the beast is to be worshipped, it would be due to cultural popularity and nationalism is not culturally popular with these newer generations and the Watchtower needs to realize that or be blindsided with a rude awakening when they find out the "superior authority" government safety protocols is what ends up banning the preaching work entirely. The mark of the beast would be seen as a safety default to the ignorant. As those who are against it will be persecuted and labeled as conspiracy theorists because they don't think the "superior authorities" have their best interests in mind. I pray that many have realized this as the vaccine mandates are a good precursor of a warning before the actual mark of the beast, whatever that might be.

This is very timely as a sister was just asking me my opinion on the Mark of the Beast. I am a somewhat new(er) JW, but I really never believed it was symbolic as the WT has taught. I treaded lightly but got my point across. So strange to feel like you could “get in trouble” for expressing another view point. Something new and that I had never had to deal with at other Churches in my life. I bet I could wear a shirt to my old church saying the “Trinity is false” and they would not have said a thing to me

It's inevitable that the Org will be lead astray. The King of the North will play a big part in that. It's a little unnerving thinking about it though.

I personally know of deaths and severe injuries caused by the vaccine AMONG THE FRIENDS. So, if I know, I am certain they know. There has been no apology and no backing down from their crazy COVID directions. Here is a scenario that just happened in our congregation in the last few days. We received a text from our group Elder that as a way to thank the Circuit Overseer and his wife for giving the Memorial Talk they wanted to have a potluck at a nearby beach park. Then, the next day they cancelled it and this is the message from the Elder: “Sorry brothers and sisters but our gathering for next Sunday has been postponed. The branch just raised the risk level for the circuit overseers so they won’t be able to join large social gatherings. So we will be having a gathering at another time.”

Even here in crazy leftist Hawaii they have dropped all COVID requirements including masks. I can only wonder if they are doing that because those who followed their direction and got vaccinated now have weak immune systems, so they could catch COVID, get seriously ill and possibly die. That would expose the vaccine mandate for what it actually is. The GB has the very best of researchers. Even they themselves make that statement. And, so I believe them regarding that and that means they know the truth about COVID and the truth about the vaccines.

Not to mention that scriptures tell us they sold the sheep and the motivation is that they think the “master is delaying”, which I believe is the obvious lie about 1914. I personally know many of the friends who wrote letters to the GB warning them that their instructions regarding the vaccine will be disastrous.

Also, as a related side note, the State of Hawaii had installed numerous huge quarantine tents at various locations around the island. Each tent was as large as a small house. I even put a video on Rumble of it. Last week they removed almost all of them. I think they put a few up near an area with a lot of homelessness and they are now using them for the homeless. They were never fully occupied by the supposed people who needed to “quarantine” but in fact they were mostly empty until they started housing the homeless in them. I am an eye-witness of this.

Good points. I can't buy the excuse that they didn't know the dangers of the masks and injections and were simply looking out for safety and erring on the side of caution. Like you said, they have research teams devoted to these things and even admitted to such in the updates. If me and my laptop can find the truth, the GB (with their abundant resources and supposed backing of holy spirit) are fully aware of the dangers. As I've pointed out before, all they needed to do is heed their own written advise about experimenting with drugs and pushing medical treatments on others. Not to mention the hundreds of letters from concerned brothers containing resources for them to research that I'm positive were sent in. This is the reason they sent out the knee jerk reaction letters to hush up any elders with strong, dissenting views. There is way to much evidence to dismiss the behavior. I'll add that if safety were such a concern, why open up KH's worldwide when the threat is greater now that it was when they shut them down? Its only so they can say how wonderful it is that we are back at our KHs due to blind obedience to the FFDS and their "strange, impractical and illogical directions. Wow! Its a miracle.

However, that said, I have been meditating this morning regarding attending the meetings. That is something that in my heart I really don’t want to do, but at the same time I do want to be obedient to Jehovah and his son. So, to be honest, which is important for me, Jesus is still head of the congregation, even if the congregation is apostate, which they all aren‘t apostates and I can‘t even say if any of them are. So, I have decided to attend the meetings again starting next week but without a mask. And, if private conversations arise, I will tell the truth that the Watchtower organization will be destroyed according to prophecy in the coming GT. I also will never again turn in “time”, which is a command of men. I don’t want to be on the membership rolls again either. We’ll see how it goes. Thank you for your comments, I treasure them.

The official wording about masks is 'strongly encouraged' and there should be respect for others space even if social distancing laws are not in place. I hope you are able to go to the meeting and enjoy the parts you can & discharge the parts you can't. I hope no one gives you a hard time about the mask but if they do you can ask what is the difference between encouragement and requirement and say that you thought the official wording was 'strongly encouraged'.
