Leave money to the watchtower in your will

Asking for an indication of what may be given back in the early 1900s was presumably done in good faith. But this was before watchtower became a shareholder in various companies, putting donations at risk, rather than living within its own means; before becoming an estate agent, before getting into bed and prostituting itself with the United Nations for money, selling property built by the brethren, before even having to pay out millions of dollars in fines for allowing abuse of children in its governance of the congregations. However, credit where credit is due (pardon the pun), at least the governing body are now so ashamed of their actions that they no longer have the gall to face the camera to plead, beg and brazenly lie for money, selling “faith” in Jehovah, but now send an anonymous minion to do their grovelling for them, via production of an entirely fictitious example, hot off the press from their Hollywood studios paid for by the brethren themselves! It is of no wonder that Jesus used a whip to rid his father’s temple of the money changers.

I don't see anything wrong with being a shareholder of stocks or other investments. Some wealthy witnesses don't have to work secularly as they get cash flow money through dividends, real estate properties and other things without lifting a finger. Making them able to do Bethel full time, even if they are not supposed to work, cash flowing investments is allowed. You may not like it, but it's better they do it that way and invest the money instead of relying on 100% donations and have that money sitting there which is losing money during inflation.

Translation: My mother's circuit superintendent asked for my father's gold watch after asking for money. My obedient mother gave her €50 after the personal economic request and not satisfied she said: you have much more money to share with me, sister... 🥴

They have "ethical" funds you can invest in. We don't know when the end is coming. It would be wise to invest as you said, if you can. If you're in your 50s and the Kingdom doesn't come for 20 more years if would be good if you had some retirement funds.

I know in Canada we have pensioners who enjoy a fine repast of dog food during the evenings. It breaks my heart to even think of that. It really does. If I knew of someone like that personally, I'd have to do something to help them.

Imagine working hard all your life, reaching an advanced age...and then that. Someone has to take care of these people and it isn't going to be the heartless government. With that in mind lets all pray the Kingdom comes in much less than 20 years.

If you are a faithful servant of Jehovah, he will take care of you, no matter what.

Unfortunately, we don't really have full control of where the money goes to. We may not directly invest in weapons companies that make weapons of war but they are a certain % of a group of stocks, even then, our taxes fund wars, abortions and other evil things. It's an endless cycle of corruption and only a divine intervention can stop it, thus we are an enemy of the entire world and are easily destroyed but our faith in God is the weapon against the devil and his puppets.

You would have to hand pick companies. After research, of course. No mutual funds or the like.
