The Bible of course provides us with the very best possible advice available for life. This thread's purpose is to post Bible verses or other good advice that can help us in successfully navigating through this thing we all experience and call LIFE and in dealing with those we encounter in the journey.

So true. In line with this thought is a needed reminder that the Holy Scriptures are intended to be a mirror for us to reign in our fleshly leanings and to put on the new personality. It is not intended to be a club to beat other people with, although it can, in the right hands, be used to correct someone if they are willing to be corrected by scripture. But as Jesus pointed out in his illustration of the rafter in the eye, as per Luke chapter 6, we must first apply the scriptures to ourselves. One cannot help but be humbled when changing our focus to ourselves.

While serving on the ministry in an affluent congregation noticing the brothers whole series of Mercedes models parked up and I taking the bus as I did three to four hours round trip per day to work and back went to Jehovah and said 'Where's my Mercedes?' I was answered; the hours on the bus gave me time to study up on the meeting requirements covering every talk and hoping no one would turn so I could deliver them giving me the platform! I don't need a Mercedes to travel here @e-Jehovah's witnesses.com; how blessed we all are! No need of logging into Zoom to listen to the wormwood! So glad you are back Susan. Your disappearance was as noticeable as a buildings support column

Yes, of course. This thread is here to post helpful and beneficial advice for everyone, as anyone may find it helps them, and is not intended to target anyone in a negative way. If anyone sadly sees it that way, they are entirely missing the good spirit and intentions of this thread. I hope that the thread will be used in the spirit for which it is intended, as a place for postive thoughts for insight and growth. It is under the category: Look on the Bright Side.

I completely agree with your thought and only intend to compliment it as per James 1:25: “But the one who peers into the perfect lawd that belongs to freedom and continues in it has become, not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work; and he will be happy in what he does.” It is not my intent to target this at any individual but as a reminder to myself that I wanted to express as I find this principle useful to me.

Google translation of Ana's post.

I trust in Jehovah completely. I know that when the time of trial comes, he will offer a covenant to the one who overcomes. If everything that happened during the liberation of his people from Egypt seemed immensely powerful to me, and that covenant has already expired, I try to understand what it will be like when the new covenant is fulfilled. Never before have Jehovah's people had their laws the way they will. I like to remind myself that overwhelming moments await us, yes, but also life-giving ones. Jehovah writing his laws on our hearts? I can't contain the emotion in my chest just thinking about it. ❤️

Hebrews 8:7-13
"If that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for a second. 8 For he does find fault with the people when he says: “‘Look! The days are coming,’ says Jehovah, ‘when I will make with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah a new covenant. 9 It will not be like the covenant that I made with their forefathers on the day I took hold of their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, because they did not remain in my covenant, so I stopped caring for them,’ says Jehovah. 10 “‘For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,’ says Jehovah. ‘I will put my laws in their mind, and in their hearts I will write them. And I will become their God, and they will become my people “‘And they will no longer teach each one his fellow citizen and each one his brother, saying: “Know Jehovah!” For they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them. 12 For I will be merciful toward their unrighteous deeds, and I will no longer call their sins to mind.’” 13 In his saying “a new covenant,” he has made the former one obsolete. Now what is obsolete and growing old is near to vanishing away."

"Come, now, you who say: “Today or tomorrow we will travel to this city and will spend a year there, and we will do business and make some profit,” whereas you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. For you are a mist that appears for a little while and then disappears. Instead, you should say: “If Jehovah wills, we will live and do this or that.”" James 4:13-15
