Little boy/child or congregation elder? You decide!

Kind of like this:
Such an awesome movie. So were the Police Squad movies. In one of the police squad movies, a bomb had blown out part of a building, and there were chalk outlines of dead bodies everywhere, and as he walked through the building, they got more and more ridiculous, one on the wall, ceiling, and then a stick man figure. It's was hilarious, and you'd miss it if you weren't paying attention. I'll see if I can find it.

The day before yesterday when I was at the hall (third time without mask) the elder that conducted the watchtower confronted me as I remain the only one that does not wear a mask the exchange was pretty brief I said "a recommendation is a recommendation" and that "trust me if I thought a mask had any efficacy in protecting me from protein shedding I'd be wearing one" He probably saw my non compliance as undermining the watchtower we were going to go over that day insisting on obedience and equating the GB with God. I raised my hand a few times on the part of the watchtower on Sodom and the review question that included that territory but wasn't called on.

After the meeting I spoke with a nice brother in the parking lot that's transitioned from ministerial servant to elder recently to chat briefly on Genesis guy seems in his thirties but I noticed that his mind seemed slow and Alzheimer-y still recognizably himself but I suppose one could say a smaller self. Paying more attention I noticed his face was more gaunt and the lower half had severe asymmetry 🙁 I remember six months ago he was supportive of people having freedom of choice on the 💉 but had been dosed himself. Not looking forward to observing people slow motion mentally and physically unravel 😢

Very revealing with what I believe to be the truth. The mask is a personal choice as long as you make the correct ”strongly” recommended choice. What manipulation.

Good for you GP! And the line: "trust me if I thought a mask had any efficacy in protecting me from protein shedding I'd be wearing one" was a nice burn.

Careful though my friend:

Luke: 11:37-53

42 “Woe to you Pharisees, because you give God a tenth of your mint, rue and all other kinds of garden herbs, but you neglect justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without leaving the former undone.

53 When Jesus went outside, the Pharisees and the teachers of the law began to oppose him fiercely and to besiege him with questions, 54 waiting to catch him in something he might say.

They don't like people who call them out, people that seek truth and live by it. You might find yourself a real target to them.

The CO has sole power to appoint and delete, yet, probably so he could put it in his report to the Branch as "unanimous
hi @Joe MacTeeg how are you doing? it’s nice to see your nâme here!

Yes, the WT loves a unanimous vote whether up or down. It won’t matter if the issue is good or bad as long as it’s unanimous, isn’t that right.

i remember when the congregation would have those quarterly motions we all would have to raise our hands and show our approval, aye. like anyone in their right mind would raise their hand and say nay.

Unity above all!!!!!!

More like crazy above all.

You reminded me of those quarterly motions. Haha. They were cringe. I was starting to get a little miffed with all the brainwashing at that time in my life and so I took the third option, I didn't raise my hand at all. I figured it would carry without me anyhow.:)

Mark o'Donnell has a point here...

"Jehovah's Witnesses have released the latest 2022 elders' manual, with no changes to their destructive and dangerous child abuse policy. Even worse, they have added a lengthy paragraph encouraging appointments of elders as young as "early 20's. It is absolutely alarming to think that a barely-out-of-his-teens young man could be privy to internal investigations of child sexual abuse before he is old enough to drink a beer. He will become complicit in the crimes or cover-ups of his fellow elders."

‘Bring up a child in the Way and he will not turn aside from it,’ has application for evil too. Fill a child with pride and power beyond his years and reap what you sow. What the watchtower is simply saying is ‘form company men young, and have them for life.’ It will also be a matter of pride for the congregation to be so spiritual that boys qualify as elders. What next, anointed children?

One more example. A few weeks ago, my son and I spent the day at the local arena, watching four NCAA Tournament basketball games. Over 17,000 in attendance. Very, very few masks in the general audience. To the point it stood out as weird when you saw one. Yet all eight universities whose teams we saw play, had their cheerleader squads, and bands, masked up. It had a cult indoctrination feel to it. Pull the mask down to play your notes on the Tuba, then quickly put it back up. 😵‍💫
This comes to mind..😂😂 (sorry I had to🤣)

As Robert has said and others on this forum have highlighted, terror is the only thing that will get through to God's people. It is by terror that God will shake his people awake. Kind of like this:
