Look, it's a bear!

Driving back to the "oil camp" today I saw this little fellow:

He doesn't look too happy. Do you know what both were doing on the side of the road? Eating the vegetation. I think they like the wild flowers and the nectar they contain. Perhaps they aren't the blood thirsty beasts they're sometimes made out to be.

There are more bears here than you can shake a stick at. Thick as thieves...
Bears aren't above eating humans alive. Omnivores so they don't have the instinct to end your resistance quick by going for the throat like big cats and wolves.

You'd have to ask Timothy Treadwell that. They'll always be my fat, fuzzy friends though. 80 percent of their diet is plants, old sandwiches and thrown out bagels :) though so a bear would have to be very, very hungry and desperate to eat a human.
