When American troops landed in Kuwait, the news reporters were already there waiting for them. I don't expect much of a warning when the tribulation kicks off. As far as signs and times, I believe we are getting all the warning we're going to get right now. The control mechanisms are being put in and when the war subsides, people will be thankful to the beast for bringing order, even if its under demonic control.
A brother told me in the mid 80s that it couldn't get much worse so it must be close. I wasn't feeling just then and I told him so. Jesus said that nothing will compare to the oncoming tribulation.
The brother lacked vision and an understanding of evil. I'm feeling it now for what that is worth.

When Jesus shows up for the 2nd time the sign of his presence will manifest then. not before. We already know that he will show up at some point, that is why we're watching right? Well, his brothers at least, because they don't know at what day or hr... If they don't know, then we sure don't.

Sorry to hurt your feelings boy. We just don't know, closer than aren't, but the sign will manifest itself to mark Jesus' presence. There will be no warnings as to when he will show up but. Yeah the world is normal but we need to be different/counter to the norm. Noah and his family was different, counter to the norm and they survived. Although Jesus said "...when you see all these things happening..." etc; What things? I guess we'll find out soon enough when the sign starts to be fulfilled, thousand years out? Ah couple days who knows?
