To the extent we have made progress, let us go on walking orderly in this same course.—Phil. 3:16.

After reviewing the qualifications to serve as elders, some ministerial servants might feel that they could never qualify. But remember that neither Jehovah nor his organization expects you to display these qualities perfectly. (1 Pet. 2:21) And it is Jehovah’s powerful spirit that helps you to develop these qualifications. (Phil. 2:13) Is there a particular quality that you would like to improve on? Pray to Jehovah about it. Research the topic, and ask one of the elders for suggestions on how to improve. Reach out! Ask Jehovah to train and mold you to be even more useful in serving him and the congregation. (Isa. 64:8) May Jehovah richly bless your efforts to qualify to serve as an elder. w24.11 25 ¶17-18Tha'

If the Watchtower is anything, it is orderly. It is an organization that prides itself on unity and structure. Everyone follows the same routine. That is not necessarily a bad thing. Healthy routines are good. But it can also contribute to rigidity and complacency. And worse, the organization can and has become all-encompassing. Just look at the growing number of exJWs who mentally check out because the organization they at one time followed let them down. They lack the spirituality to see beyond the all-imposing organization.

The leaders of the Watchtower assume that because God has used the organization to accomplish a phase of the divine work, it will always be an instrument. The Governing Body continually reminds JWs that during the tribulation they must stay in tune with the organization so as to receive life-saving instructions.

My work this past quarter of a century has been to overturn that entrenched thinking and point to the post-Watchtower final phase. Then, organizational routine will become a snare for those lacking the spirituality to go forward under Christ.

The leaders of the Watchtower assume that because God has used the organization to accomplish a phase of the divine work, it will always be an instrument. And, the Pharisees could not believe or, perhaps, did not want to believe that the Jewish system was marked for destruction despite being warned by Jesus himself. The leaders of Jehovah's modern day organization are not really any different........stubborn, arrogant and entrenched in denial.

(John 9:39-41) . . .Jesus then said: “For this judgment I came into this world, that those not seeing might see and those seeing might become blind.” 40 Those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and they said to him: “We are not blind also, are we?” 41 Jesus said to them: “If you were blind, you would have no sin. But now you say, ‘We see.’ Your sin remains.”

(Isaiah 65:12)....Your luck will end! I will see to it that you are slaughtered with swords. You refused to answer when I called out; you paid no attention to my instructions. Instead, you did what I hated, knowing it was wrong." (CEV)

The watchtower make a salient admission worth thinking over. “Some ministerial servants might feel that they could never qualify…”. I think that is true of all whom “reach out” to serve, because one issue is certain, it is far more difficult to please the gb than it is to please Jehovah. It is far easier to feel unity with Jehovah, than it is to feel unity within watchtower. It is far easier to feel listened to by Jehovah than it is to feel listened to by elders who tow the gb line.

What ever one qualifies as within watchtower, it is more a fabrication of achievement before men, than founded upon “rock”. Meeting the approval of men is as trying to hold on to a wet fish struggling at the end of the line because there is no measure of continuity of application and meaning within watchtower men. Is this not what Paul was pointing out to those presuming themselves upon on the congregation in his day? For myself, I did not really feel the true burden of watchtower until I was appointed as an ms. In retrospect it was like the onset of blindness and a never ending walk along a never ending pathway to a place that was not there. It just does not compare with the true insight and peace that the Bible has in store for those that love its message.

Very appropriate to call the ones clinging and promoting the folly of 1914 as “myth masters.” Here is a quote from the article “After the Watchtower”: “Let the myth-masters at Bethel explain how all the things outlined in the prophecy of Daniel, which includes Michael standing up to vanquish the king of the north and the parallel prophecy regarding the fierce-looking king bringing the holy ones to ruin before he is crushed by the Prince of princes, have “come to their finish.”

Daniel 12:7: “Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was up above the waters of the stream, as he raised his right hand and his left hand to the heavens and swore by the One who is alive forever: ‘It will be for an appointed time, appointed times, and half a time. As soon as the dashing to pieces of the power of the holy people comes to an end, all these things will come to their finish’”

Thanks J&P for pointing to the true source of salvation. Christ's prophecy has certainly proved true "those not seeing might see and those seeing might become blind.” It's amazing to think that the W/T with over a century of bible study has concluded that the only hope for mankind's survival is waiting for their life saving instructions: You would think with all their scriptural education they could at least give an advance preparatory heads up!!!

I always felt unworthy after a convention, it was as if I was nevering doing enough in service to Jehovah. The constant mantra "are you doing enough, can you do more?" It was depressing.

I’ll elaborate on “life saving instruction's” from Jesus. “Wars and Rumors of War” Matthew 24:6-13 The one who has endured to the end will be Saved.” Matthew 24:15,16 “Abomination of Desolation “ Stay spiritually alert/ Flee. Matthew 24:42 “Stay awake and watch “ Stay Confident in His Promises Matthew 24:36 “Stay Prepared”. Joel 2:32 Paul is quoting “And all those who call upon the name of Jehovah will be saved! I think calling on Jehovah, having absolute rock solid faith in him is the most important of them all. I saw your raised eyebrow Phyllis so I came back to share what I was thinking.

Jehovah foretold this outcome through his prophet Isaiah Solla: 28:10
"For it is command after command, command after command, Line by line, line by line, A little here, a little there"
Jehovah in vs 12 explained how it was meant to be
"He once told them: "This is the resting-place. Let the weary one rest; this is the place of refreshment," but they refused to listen!
Also Christ explained that the truth would set you free!
