It is they who are the liars and the promoters of falsehood.
As you consistently point out, their goal is to protect their brand. Truth is of little consequence.
Initially, as most of you know, we emailed over 50 letters to members of our congregation, circuit overseers and to our JW family and friends mostly in the southeast which exposed many of the falsities of WT. The information contained in the letter was extensive addressing many subjects.....UN affiliation, Covid, CSA, 1914, GB appointment, etc. They were emailed simultaneously.
It wasn't long before we received a phone call from an elder in our congregation (I had resigned a couple of months earlier). With total shock, the elder asked, "Jerry, did you guys send out that letter"? Of course, we said yes, we did.
Bottom line, their offer was that if we just quit talking about "it", everything will end here. No inquisitive questioning. The same old line.....we trust the Governing Body, over and over. No regard for truth. Just shut-up. No committee meetings, nothing, all is good. However, in no uncertain terms, we told them "NO", we won't stop and asked them if they were going to stop preaching.
And the WT's latest venture speaks to this concerted effort to stifle negative information on the organization from getting out to the public. Now, they require an actual acceptance of their terms in order to access JW Library which shows their aversion to truth. Accepting their terms means one cannot copy and paste anything from WT publications onto the internet. Yet, they are a Bible publishing company that supposedly prides themselves in heralding their message worldwide. Now, they want to "stifle" their message.

The reason is they know that the internet is exposing their hypocrisy. And they have an arsenal of lawyers which, at a minimum, can threaten lawsuits against offenders of their policy. And the average "Joe" doesn't have the resources to defend themselves.
