This reminds me of the day I came third in the 100 yard race at the school sports day. There were not any crowds of adoring parents - just a boarding school event on a cloudy, cold, windswept Saturday afternoon. One of our team broke his arm trying to do the high jump over a bent aluminium bar into a dry, old, weed filled sandpit filled with natures organic detritus and had not been replenished with sand since before the war. The teacher though, assured him nothing was broken and to stop blithering over nothing. Then it rained. We dispersed. We to the cold damp changing room, the boy with the broken arm to the infirmary, and the teacher to his brandy in the staff room. There were no gold leaves falling from the sky, no cheering audience or TV stars. Is that the same boy in the Bohemian Rhapsody song I posted?
Aaarrrgh! I’ve been over-cute -ed
He must be related to the Van Zantz! Jonnie, Ronnie, and Donnie. Don Barnes was the lead singer of 38 Special, but there first two albums, Donnie was lead vocals. and they sound exactly like Skynard. So to set themselves apart they got Barnes. I may not have all of that perfectly exact but that's the jist.
Remind you of anyone?

the drama and the passion - the highs and the lows - was that a tear from the maestros eye?I’ll see your Vivaldi and raise you:
Probably. The flip side might be Beethoven’s Pastorale symphony. But to touch the heart and romance the soul, one has to go to his violin concerto.the drama and the passion - the highs and the lows - was that a tear from the maestros eye?
thanks or that i got all my household chores done hahaProbably. The flip side might be Beethoven’s Pastorale symphony. But to touch the heart and romance the soul, one has to go to his violin concerto.
I do not disagree, but …………try playing this over Robert’s ‘creation’ video, or other scenic journey on a loop or just immerse your dreams into the peace of the new kingdom. This one tears at the heart of emotion and leaves one bleeding in the thankfulness of hope to come. This lady plays upon the very heart strings of creation.im pulling out the ace card on the best violin masterpiece of all time - some view it as the hevey metal of the baroque period haha
This one is on my fav oldies list too!!i loved this song back in the sixties and started taking violin lessons because of it
