In all the nations, the good news has to be preached. —Mark 13:10.

In many lands today, we can preach without disturbance. Do you live in a country that grants freedom of worship? If so, ask yourself, ‘How am I using this freedom?’ During these exciting last days, Jehovah’s organization has spearheaded the greatest preaching and teaching campaign the world has ever known. Many possibilities are open to Jehovah’s people. How can you take advantage of a time of peace? (2 Tim. 4:2) Why not examine your circumstances and see if you or a member of your family could have an increased share in the preaching work, perhaps even serving as a pioneer? Now is not the time to amass riches and material possessions —things that will not survive with us through the great tribulation. (Prov. 11:4; Matt. 6:31-33; 1 John 2:15-17) Many publishers have learned a new language so that they can use it in preaching and teaching. God’s organization supports them by producing Bible-based material in over 1,000 languages! w20.09 16 ¶9-11
Preaching without disturbance is easy when you don’t preach. Is writing a letter preaching? I don’t think any sensible person would agree to that. And this business of taking advantage of our freedom; how does that add up to our supposedly being deep, deep, deep in the time of the end when peace has been taken from the earth?

Let’s face it, the Watchtower’s lamp is running out of oil and its flickering flame is dimming, near to being snuffed out altogether; even as the keepers of the dying wick proclaim the light is getting brighter and brighter. Gaslighting as never before!

Did you detect the Watchtower’s deception? It is not always easy to spot. Admittedly, it is a small thing. Even so, that begs the question all the more so—why? What is the agenda?

Please note the verse used in the Daily Text. If you know the Scriptures you will notice that they left off the last word. Usually when a sentence is incompletely quoted the writer will punctuate with an ellipsis (…) to denote an omission. It is the honest thing to do. In this instance, the word “first” was omitted. The verse should read: “Also, in all the nations, the good news has to be preached first.”

Why did the scribes leave off the word “first”? Surely they are not trying to economize space. The verse is only 11 words. What is one more five letter word? The reason has to be that quoting the verse in whole might prompt some to ponder the unspoken question: “First” before what?

Still, it seems highly unlikely that those under the Watchtower’s deluding influence would have the spiritual wherewithal to go so far as to consider the context of Jesus’ comments as recorded in Mark. Evidently, though, the priests of Bethel don’t wish to chance prompting anyone to leave the reservation and strike out on their own and indulge in independent thinking that might cause them to realize 1914 is a massive hoax.

In any case, the Watchtower’s days are numbered. Still, we are exhorted to stay in expectation. “So keep yourselves in expectation of me,’ declares Jehovah, ‘Until the day when I rise up to take plunder, for my judicial decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out on them my indignation, all my burning anger; for by the fire of my zeal the whole earth will be consumed. For then I will change the language of the peoples to a pure language, so that all of them may call on the name of Jehovah, to serve him shoulder to shoulder.’’’

It would seem that the nations are being gathered at this present time. Gathered to what? They are being gathered to war against God. The end result is stated further on in the 3rd chapter of Zephaniah: “On that day you will not be put to shame because of all your deeds with which you rebelled against me, for then I will remove the haughty boasters from among you; and you will never again be haughty in my holy mountain. I will allow a humble and lowly people to remain in your midst, and they will take refuge in the name of Jehovah. Those remaining of Israel will practice no unrighteousness; they will not speak a lie, nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouths; They will feed and lie down, and no one will make them afraid.”

Just think, no more haughty men flashing their pinky rings, boasting of being the restorers of pure worship! No more gaslighting! No more deceit! Only humble truth-tellers will survive the coming, fiery purge.

I appreciated Robert’s emphasis on 2 Thessalonians 2:10: “and every unrighteous deception for those who are perishing, as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth in order that they might be saved“. And, how he pointed out that we will find out who loves the truth and who would rather follow men.

And, I too look forward to seeing Jehovah remove the haughty boasters, as Robert worded it, “No more gaslighting! No more deceit! Only humble truth-tellers will survive the coming, fiery purge.”

I was wondering once everything comes to the end, what would be the "pure language"?

The "pure language" in this context is the truth which will be a welcome relief after 6000 years of lies and deception. It would seem likely in the new system mankind will once again speak a common language as Jehovah confused humanity with different languages so they would disperse and not create and one world government under Nimrod. It may be Hebrew, we will have to wait and see.
