Open letter to the Governing Body

Ive had people throw me under the bus because ive said Jehovahs Witnesses are a cult. THEY ARE, thats a fact. By pure definition they are a cult. None of these people on this forum know anything about me or my family or what my familys been thru in Jehovahs house so if my delivery is not what you would expect i apologize but ive seen the demonic side in Jehovahs house and lived thru it to tell. None of my family harbor any resentment towards the brothers and sisters and believe me what my 81 year old parents have been put thru, they should. We all left the organization QUIETLY. We simply faded away and await Jehovah and his son to correct matters. There are people on these forums that like to create nonsense .Im not into that and it appears anytime i state facts or my opinion i always end up going down a rabbit hole. I'm sorry to hear that, Neoluna. And you're right, none of us can truly know what you have endured or have been through. Therefore, I would like to apologize if my comment above might've seemed insensitive or had offended you. Understand, that certainly wasn't my intention.

However, keep in mind, that we all have own personal experiences, as well. So, just know, that you're certainly not alone in how you feel, Neoluna.

I do not think your argument is being slandered in any way or manner of thinking. We all have our watchtower story and my family were slaughtered on their alter also, but what they did and its outcome though reprehensible, does not negate their motives. For the most part they are the same as us. Understanding the veil that has been laid upon them by Jehovah to magnify the issue is a critical point of understanding if we are to understand the very righteousness within the attributes of Jehovah.
Certainly there are evil outcomes from watchtower but if we excuse them through madness it simply negates their motives and reasoning within the scriptures that reveals the heart condition.

The evil perpetrated by watchtower of its people is a purposeful act of reviling Jehovah’s name by their treatment of them. It’s not that they are mad, but that they are deliberate in their opposition. Madness excuses them of it and that is at best a subtlety of Satan and worse, an effect upon the sheep that makes them follow their teaching. The end result is a decision to rebel that condemns them by their considered actions. For those that are innocent in their blindness, Christ asks Jehovah to forgive them - “for they know not what they do”. The scriptures even reflect them in its statement of “many and few strokes as punishment for what they have done deliberately or with innocence. It’s helpful to us all to understand that so that we can minister to them right up to the point of judgement as we have been asked to do. No one is belittling the effects of watchtower or indeed excusing them. Our actions are our own according to understanding.

By way of an update, I have been informed that the Slovak translation of the open letter has been mailed to 323 congregations in Slovakia and the Czech Republic as well as Bethel departments at the branch in Bratislava. :) I wish I could tell you all the stuff going on in Slovakia with the billboards, but I can't. Legal stuff o_O
