Me too, I've got lots of great memories of lovely brothers and sisters and lovely visits to various Bethels around the world and I'm glad I've got them. I just couldn't be the boring witness who sat in the corner wingeing "woe is me" all the time like many do, or not even visiting a neighbouring congregation, especially having 4 kids to occupy!!

Ditto! you know i was never baptized by the ORG but I continued my studies to this day and who knows maybe Jehovah in his loving mercy speared me the falsehoods while making sure i still got a basic bible education and you even after you were able to still have faith and move forward. It's not so bad when we find out all this craziness is actually prophesised in the Bible

I studied for 10yrs before I got baptised, needed to be sure of what I was getting into and that it wasn't too good to be true
