This subject has been on my mind a lot. Tonight I talked on the phone with one of my favorites on this forum and I promise one of yours. We both feel the same. We talked about different ways to make Roberts forum go viral …. My idea is that if all of us … who are on social media….would go on XJW sites and we would tag team and post a eye opener post from Roberts forum that would direct people to his sight over and over like bombard Jw social media. I am making this a thread cause I feel like our small group is a congregation…. I want to hear everyone’s thoughts.

I'm on the EXJW Reddit looking for doubting JWs and trying to redirect them to Robert's websites before they give up on Jehovah.

So...100% this group I agree is a congregation, there is no doubt about that. And indeed there is no question if we do not speak out, the "rocks will". My only question is HOW?

I may be a little cynical, actually no, I am a lot cynical even though I try not to be, the idea that Jehovah would ever chose me? That seems well, not gonna happen... Even so, there is no doubt Jehovah has always made his intentions public and widely so. So will we be a part of that? Well, should I let my personal doubts, that I for one would ever be involved in such a thing? No, Jehovah uses who he wants to use. If Jehovah uses me, in spite of myself, he uses me...my only part in it is that I hate Satan! Does hating Satan mean I love Jehovah? Well, there is that possibility!

But I am an arrogant man, trying very hard not to be arrogant, and very much aware of my short comings...that is to say, I am just like everyone else! The only difference is I admit who and what I am. I am not proud of it mostly, although anyone who gets into an argument with me might think otherwise, but I am not. I know I am not right always, and I do not always know when I am right, or when I am wrong...the difference between me and others, is I don't pretend to be something I am not and I admit when I am wrong.

I did that back in the early days when this forum first got started. I used to leave this link mostly on exjw Facebook groups.

I don’t participate in social media like fb, X, IG, anymore- but I hope your efforts yield results!

Times are different now. Things are happening quickly…and if we can attract a handful of people it will be worth the effort. Then whoever they might tell will pass the word on. My husband was self employed and he didn’t advertise but thought word of mouth was a better way of advertising.

That's a great idea Melinda.. and I'd say we're actually 3 going on 4 congregations 😀

So true, all the tradespeople I know never advertise, the climate here in the UK (with all the scammers and bodgers) means people will only go by word of mouth/personal recommendation 😀 When a watcher messaged mé on that ex jw Reddit group I instantly knew she/he was genuine, I can't remember exactly what they said now but they brought me here anyway and the rest is history 😊
 
I appreciate your efforts and support. I really do. The problem is that most exJWs are as deaf and blind as the leadership of the Watchtower. Most of them are faithless and spiritually dead. They have no interest in the Bible, certainly not in my message that the WT is Jehovah's organization turned apostate. That's my observation, anyway. It is going to take a massive jolt to awaken people. Like the Bible says: "Only terror will make them understand."

By the way, I am banned from commenting or answering people's questions on exJW Reddit sites :ROFLMAO:

I had a conversation with a brother who grew up in the truth & his father runs a mechanic shop. Both are inactive JW's (at least the son is). The things he told me of what was going on in the congregation was just shocking to say the least. In the end he mentioned how he believes most JW's don't even have faith (likely secular & PIMO) to begin with & they only behave because of the elders. This is the kind of crap that goes on in all the branches & denominations of Christendom. They go for socializing & a handful are genuine believers. It's depressing.

Our son-in-law is a very intelligent, personable individual with a lot of responsibility in the circuit. If you remember, the C.O. was visiting his congregation the week our initial letter was sent out so he was chosen to offer us a "soft ball pitch" if we would discontinue what we were doing. On the evening of our visit with our daughter and son-in-law, we reviewed many of the points in our letter. We vividly remember his response to the WT's ten year secret alliance with the UN as a NGO......he said "what does it really matter."

Usually a person's response is "that's not true.....it's just propaganda". What it told us is, he was already aware of the alliance but, as he said it just didn't matter to him.
A person with that attitude is not going to listen to anything you have to say. We haven't spoken to either one of them since that night although we did send our daughter a letter.
So we totally understand the scripture.......(Isaiah 28:19) . . ."Only terror will make them understand what was heard.”

It's so sad really to 'lose' your daughter and son-in-law that way; When I told my best friend, when she asked why I didn't trust the GB anymore, her answer was: But they should, it's their responsibility to know what our enemy is planning! That was almost two years ago, not an other word, except that she told me that she had been so good to me, that she hadn't told the elders what I had said.
 
I totally agree with Robert as far as the majority of XJW are faithless....but there are a few out there that know something is wrong and are looking for answers. Here are my thoughts. For many years I worked for Newspapers and Radio....my job was to sell advertising and write commercials. What I learned is you will only get a persons attention for about 15 seconds. It's important to deliver a punch and leave a hook. The following is something Robert wrote that to me delivers a lot in a nutshell. Robert wrote..... A simple way to understand Bible prophesies is to study everything Watchtower has published and then detach 1914 and shift everything to
the immediate future. Next delete Christendom as the object of Gods Judgement and insert the Watchtower. Press Enter
I have left this comment along with a link to e-watchman and nothing else. I have gotten lots of likes. What if we left this comment as a group....do you think it would get attention?

We adopted that philosophy as soon as we read Robert's advice early on in our journey. It worked for us. :D
Sounds like a plan.
But, I wonder, with a mass invasion, how long will it take for us to get banned from all the ex-jw social media sites?????:ROFLMAO:

Makes me wonder. Maybe people just don't have the money to go? I've been to about five conventions and I was around longer than that. I just couldn't spend a whole day sitting in the hot sun in a suit listening to what has already been said at the hall. There is no question they've taken a hit but now I wonder how much of it is linked to the Covid operation.

I was out for a hike this morning, and I sat down in the shade for a rest. I checked out the forum on my phone. I saw your post, so I uploaded a YouTube short. ;)
