I apologize if this has been covered on this forum or elsewhere, but I couldn't find it with a cursory search. Amazon has Robert's book credited to "Robert King M.D." which I'm pretty sure isn't accurate :). That piqued my curiosity as to what your secular occupation(s) actually were/are? Please feel free to refrain/obfuscate an answer. :):) I've sometimes borrowed from Robert Todd Lincoln in identifying as a 'gentleman farmer of independent means' when queried - though clearly presented as prevaricated.

M.D. simply stands for ‘Mischievously Disfellowshipped’, or if you like, ‘Ministerially Dumped’………or ‘Much Despised’ by Watchtower. It’s a quite common epithet for Christian’s stemming back near 2000 years. In defence though, RK stands for ‘Righteous Knowledge’, so either way is good. 🤣

By the way, that is the first edition from 2005.
OK, well...I clicked on the link above, and the Amazon listing says, "you purchased this edition on March 7th 2023...(wow more than two years ago), any way...so I was wondering what "edition" I actually have. On the top right it says, "see all formats and editions" and when I click on that it says I "purchased the hardback edition"...but to the point, the inside cover says, (second edition) and "copyright" is 2010 so the obvious question, is this the latest edition? If not I'm gonna complain to Amazon. It's been two years but I don't care.

The last edition has as a subtitle, The Final Edition, and was published in 2016.

We posted at the same time. I'm gonna try to bet Amazon to send me the 2016 edition, I'll let you know how it turns out.

By the way, don't buy the book thinking you are making a donation to my work. The book is expensive enough so I checked the box for no royalties, except for the last edition Amazon requires a minimum royalty. I think I get a dollar per copy. It is annoying having to deposit those checks. :cautious:

I thought it was a very fair price Robert 😀

To the making of many books there is no end. Ecclesiastes 12:12 😜

For those of you that aren't already and are so inclined, Robert has a Patreon account to make more direct contributions

I always wondered what Robert did for a living. I never imagined he was an MD. That's impressive. He never talks about himself. Maybe it was a typo. Maybe our Robert is actually an MC! MC King sounds pretty metal to me.
