Back in the early days of the Internet, my brother wanted me to use this app called ICQ. A messenger app for when you don’t want to call on the phone but send a quick message. He had a name related to his hobby and had that sort of feel. I lived in Bagdad, Arizona, a copper mine so it just happened that way. There is no official story as to how the town was named Bagdad but the idea was that the terrain resembles parts of the Middle East.
